Great spot with excellent food and drinks. The Black Forest cake was not so great; tragic, given the name. Would eat at again.
Vegetarian options: Eggplant schnitzel, vegan sausages (fairly spicy), good salad options, good side options

excellent German pub for a large birthday gathering with wide tables and great service and hot food along with schnitzel's and pretzels and beers and shotskies, very accommodating and easy to make reservation for a large group, and comfortable in the winter
I would highly recommend hosting a party at this place. With the economy right now, this is the only place that you can host a party with reasonable price and still have leftover foods for your guests to take home. The service and vibe is amazing

I’ve been visiting this place a few times a year since they opened, and the food has always been consistently excellent. I highly recommend trying the variety of bratwurst and the Chicken Schnitzel. The brezel makes for a fantastic appetizer. The burger is another standout—always cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and sauerkraut are also top-notch.
I’m thrilled they’ve done away with the “order via QR code on a website” system. It’s so much better to interact with a real waiter or waitress. If you’re in the area and craving some authentic German cuisine, this spot is a must-visit.

Went to Black Forest for a Saturday Oktoberfest party on october 12th, and prepaid for the tickets to the party online. Was there for the entire party and not once was I asked to check or validate my tickets, nor did I see other guests who walked in get asked to pay the cover charge. Food was okay, beer was good though, and service was somewhat slow despite it not being that busy. The Oktoberfest party doesnt really feel like a party if you are seated outsided since you cant really hear the music and the musicians only came outside once for 2 minutes of the 3ish hour event. Overall, just left a bad taste in my mouth that I and my friends pointlessly paid for tickets to what ended up essentially being a free event.

The place has a relaxed Biergarten in the background and good beer options. We ordered spätzle, options with and without meat and both were great. Good service and value for money.
