Bogota is best restaurant on the planet. Last time we went, we felt old. It was a little too loud.

Had tickets to a show at Barclay's. Arrived downtown to get dinner before the show. Where else would we go...? Bogota Latin Bistro. It was our #1 choice. We tried it by chance a year ago and have been back ever since. The place is convenient, the people are friendly, and the food is so full of flavor and delicious! There's no reason to go anywhere else. Their menu has dozens of authentic Colombian dishes. I'm looking to try everyone!

Food is good but not great. My husband is Colombian and the dishes are very decent for someone who doesn't really know what authentic Colombian food is like. Service is good and we've been there for a couple of Colombia soccer matches.
Steak and shrimp empanadas were good. Chicharrones pollo was dry but the dipping sauce helped. Paella Valenciana was ok. Would have preferred more rice in the paella. The mussels in the paella were not fresh and had that bad ocean taste. The mango margarita and Brazil sangria were good but the glasses they came in were small and filled with ice and three slices of lime so not much to drink. They also charge a 20% tip automatically onto your bill regardless of your party size which is annoying.
