Worst indian food I have ever had - not authentic . The Chicken Tikka Masala had so much sugar in it , it reminded me of the sauce on Spaghetti-Os... Chicken samosas were totally dry and tasted old.. Never again .

Okay this is the BEST Indian restaurant, maybe even my favorite restaurant in NY. The taste is super! They do brown rice too and it’s not overly priced at all like a lot of others can be. The ambience is lovely in there - a bit like the classic British/Indian restaurants. - with low lighting, pretty wall paper and pictures. The only one in the USA I’ve seen like this. Highly highly recommended.

Food is always great, but for the love of God, don’t get anything delivered. It’s Sunday night, and I had a long day. I didn’t feel like picking up, so I ordered for delivery. I’m literally a block away—1 hour and 40 minutes. I could have gone over to the kitchen, cooked it myself and got back here quicker. Food is always great, but I could fly to Rochester quicker than their delivery service can deliver to a block away.

It really pains me to write this bc I have been a loyal Bombay heights consumer for the past year — but I recently got my usual of chicken tikka masala, plain naan, and mango laasi and got major food poisoning. I don’t think I can ever come back here which makes me so so sad. Thank you for the past year of wonderful meals it’s sad that it’s ending on this note ..

Placed an order on beyond menu as instructed by the website- this is the second time this is happened and did not receive anything an hour and a half later the person at the front who is handling orders was very busy but the lack of professionalism and the fact that we live in the neighborhood and we’re trying to order and support this business and did not receive any food or any update whatsoever is completely beyond my understanding. Unfortunately I cannot support this business, though I really want to, I am not able to considering the fact that waiting such an exponentially long time while sitting in their restaurant and being treated so unprofessionally is not acceptable.
