I have been here for a few years but the attitude of the staff is a problem. The last time I went there was four or five years ago. I don’t know if the staff has changed. Tried a different neighborhood bakery on 7th Ave, Bon Apetit. They had a larger hot bar (including congee) than my usual bakeries on 8th Av but I only ordered pastries & large coffee. I liked my 8th Av bakeries better. However this one had ample seating. $6.75 for order.
I always get the pork dumplings with ginger you cant beat 5 dumplings for $2.00. if you get there before 12 pm they also sell dimsum. They also have noodles they can make till 6pm with or without ham.
