My wife Parker, my best friend Dex and I went to Bonafini for Parker’s birthday, and to also celebrate the memory of a dear friend of ours who passed away. Everything was amazing, especially our server, Barrel. They had to leave early due to an emergency, so please pass our praises along, and we hope everything is alright! As trans people just trying to exist in the world, they really, REALLY made our experience special. Thank you Barrel and Bonafini for fostering such a wonderful and safe environment with the most delicious brunch around 🫶

Food is really great! The service I experienced the last time I visited was horrible though. The woman who was our server had a sort of English accent. She acted as if we were bothering her while ordering and then literally avoided our table. Although nothing rude was said, she just seemed annoyed. I literally had to get up and go over to where she was texting on her phone in order to get a refill. She kept her back to us the entire time. Other than taking our order, the only other time she came to our table was to tell us to leave because there was an upcoming reservation. The interior of the restaurant was nice but it was incredibly hot. It’s not great to be sweating while eating. Overall the service stood out as particularly bad.

We came to support our local friend from the neighborhood, we really enjoyed our lunch. We ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and the bolognese lasagna, they were both delicious! I had a sparkling lemon water which was super refreshing. We also tried the salted caramel and chocolate ice cream. The waiter was super attentive and friendly. The space was well designed, cozy and welcoming.

A very pleasant and quiet place offering delicious, fresh food. The prosciutto pizza was exceptionally juicy and tasty. The host, speaking with an Italian accent, was very kind, considerate, and sympathetic. However, the overall mood was affected by a waitress with piercings and pins on her apron. She was passive-aggressive towards my service dog, refusing entry until I explained its purpose - which was illegal, and repeatedly coming over to ask if she could clear our plates, even though we hadn't finished eating.
