Absolutely incredible experience — both the chef and the host always make me feel like I’m at home. Not to mention, the handrolls always hit!!
This place is the bomb! It’s so worth the price because they really stuff your rolls and the quality is high! The sushi chef is so sweet and talkative! You can tell he loves his job. Juan the manager is such a great time too. Love a restart with staff who love what they do. Recommend eating here and grabbing the lunch special but it’s dine in only. Yellowtail nigiri is just chefs kiss!
Amazing hand rolls.
The sushi here is really good and the happy hour deal and Sunday deal for five dollar hand rolls is incredible.. I've been back 10 times already! Also, the service is amazing at the Williamsburg location. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend if you're into hand rolls!
Would not go again.
Good lunch special
I had an absolutely phenomenal dinner, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our incredible server, Thays. From start to finish, the experience felt thoughtful, seamless, and truly special.
The omakase was next-level—every piece was fresh, artfully prepared, and balanced. The crispy rice (both the spicy tuna and yuzu lobster) was pure joy in every bite. We also had the Urakasumi sake carafe, which paired beautifully with everything. As a sweet surprise, we were treated to the Black Sesame Lava Cake—and Thays made it even sweeter by comping it as part of a “Surprise + Delight.” That little gesture left a big impression.
Thays’ energy was warm and attentive without ever being overbearing. It felt like we were being hosted by someone who genuinely loves what they do and wants guests to have a memorable time.
Everything—from the food to the vibe to the thoughtful service—was worth every penny. I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Thays, for making the night unforgettable!
I had an amazing experience at Bondi Sushi Bar that truly exceeded my expectations. As someone who enjoys sushi but often feels unsure about what to order, I was immediately put at ease by the welcoming staff. Thais, in particular, was incredibly friendly and made me feel like a regular at my neighborhood spot. The king salmon and seared o toro were absolute standouts—especially when paired with the Heaven Sake. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, perfect for solo dining or catching up one-on-one with a friend. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality sushi without the intimidation.
Always have the best time when we come here! Quick service, extremely welcoming and kind staff (our server was so kind and took time to chat with us throughout the night) and love literally everything on the menu
Just found one of my new favorite sushi spots! The sushi was absolutely amazing, and the service was impeccable—huge shoutout to the servers and the chef. Plus, the music was a whole vibe! Perfect place for a girls night. Can’t wait to go back!

one of my favorite handroll / omakase places i’ve visited so far. the service at the williamsburg location is amazing - each time i feel so welcomed and everyone who works there is so nice. plus the music is always great. the sushi is outstanding.
Amazing lunch and happy hour deal. Thays is an amazing server/ I’ve been here 3 times this month and she is so nice and has given great recommendations! The food is delicious!!
Thays was the best server ever!!! Love this place so much. Delicious
Can’t speak for the atmosphere as I only had takeout. Flavorful menu options and excellent packaging. Had a few rolls and a bowl. You can also build your own and there’s a ton of unique options and flavor profiles. They make it easy to pick up via a separate door. Highly recommend.
Top quality sushi. Delicious, flavorful, expertly prepared. I was craving great sushi and this surpassed my expectations! Manny (Emmanuel) was super friendly and made me feel right at home as the chef worked opposite me. My lunch was finished with the most creamy/warm topped/slightly tangy-sweet yuzu crème brûlée - what a way to enjoy an afternoon in Brooklyn!
