The food was all far too heavily salted. My glass of wine was the only thing I ordered that tasted good. The staff were fine, but somewhat inattentive.
Botte is too loud for me. Service was excellent, the place is pricey. Check the menu prices before u go Calamari is mediocre, pizza very good, caprese salad the same. Chicken Parmesan excellent. I'm iffy : would I return. Maybe
Good food! Great service! My family frequents this restaurant for family celebrations and it does not disappoint!
Delicious meal! We ordered the gnocchi sorrentina, ricotta and fig bruschetta, and the caponata with fried goat cheese special. The gnocchi was my favorite, but everything was very good. I would definitely come back and try other menu items.
Delightful experience before a concert down the street. Service was a little slow, but the place was pretty full. Had GF pizzas which were delicious. Waitress was marvelous.
What a fabulous find. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. The focaccia bread with the sesame seeds and oregano was so light and good. The ambiences were amazing.
Penne al vodka amazing as always , drinks were good, a little loud but other then that, amazing :)
Botte is one of those cozy Brooklyn gems that makes you feel like you've stumbled into a little slice of Italy. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and effortlessly stylish — perfect for date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. We ordered the lasagna, spaghetti, and calamari, and every dish hit the mark. The lasagna was rich and perfectly layered — creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The spaghetti had that perfect al dente bite and came with a sauce that tasted fresh and homemade, simple but packed with depth. The calamari was crispy and tender (never rubbery!), served with a zesty marinara that tied it all together beautifully. The service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, and the wine list had some great Italian picks to pair with the meal. If you're in Brooklyn and craving authentic, comforting Italian food done right, Botte is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back. 🍝🍷
We've been to Botte plenty of times, even brought our families' here when in town, but yesterday's food was not good. It was not to Botte standards. The pasta sauce in both the bolognese and penne vodka were bland. We left hungry.
