We had an amazing time at Bou'ote. The owner as usual, was super friendly and came out to talk to us about each dish he had and any questions we asked. You can tell he really really enjoys what he does and it's more than just his passion, because at first I ordered a sea-bass sandwich, and after a couple minutes he came out saying that the bread wasn't up to his standards and he doesn't feel comfortable sending it out. Which was something I really appreciated!

We ordered the Savory Babka, and it was DELICIOUS! ORDER IT! we ordered the Maryuma which is a style of shakshuka but made differently. (matbucha style). My wife ordered eggs Benedict, and lemonade that came with a delicious cream on top.

He also sent out some borscht that he was experimenting with, and some other complimentary things.

We had a great time, and a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Super cool decor, feels like you’re transported back to Europe a hundred years ago. The food is really unique and hand crafted. The people who work there really love what they do. Would definitely come back!

We happened to arrive on Friday,
Fresh sponges just came out, excellent dough, a little powdered sugar and a cappuccino next to it.
My daughter ordered a dish of latkes over smoked salmon and poached egg
Garnished with whipped hollandaise sauce
Amazing look and divine taste.

We also bought a slice of chocolate babka for Shabbat
Lots and lots of stuffing, we savored every bite

The owner of the house has a good hand with doughs
And for food in general.
Worth every dollar.
And most importantly the place is kosher.

I go so often, I get to sample all the incredible goodies.
Must try the Savory Babka! You cannot get it anywhere. Same goes for the Maryuma and the Scrambled eggs. :)

I come here a lot
I just waited 30 min and wasn’t offered water the shop is understaffed extremely and can only handle about 3 people at a time the food is delicious but they don’t cater to your allergies so if a slice of a fish is no good that dish is no longer a viable option as they won’t remove anything
The staff is very friendly but extremely in American and not friendly
It as if he does you a favour bu letting you come here

This is one of those exceptional spots where the owner is manically obsessed with serving food that feeds you on a deep level both culinarily and spiritually.Shlomie the owner is meticulous in making sure your dish is perfect and will singularly focus on each person, table and dish, one at a time.Go with patience and grace and you’ll often be rewarded with an extra slice of incredible babka chefs compliments because shloime felt like you just had to have it.We ordered the Gingy - felt like biting into a slice of a Seattle fish market with the freshest array of orange fish, down to the caviar sprinkled about.Special of the day Potato Knish - lathered with a poached egg and mustard sauce. Felt like being transported to the lower east side 100 years ago.For the grand finale the cheese blitzes transport you to a Parisian cafe which is what this place feels like the second you walk in.

Disappointing Experience at Bou'oteI recently visited Bou'ote and was looking forward to a nice meal. Unfortunately, the service was appalling, and the owner's behavior was completely unacceptable.I asked for some sauce on the side and he refused to give me any whatsoever he said this is how it comes and won't let me add anything on the side. But the real shock came when the owner joined our table. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, he became defensive and argumentative. When we expressed our disappointment, he responded with sarcasm and disrespect. It was clear that he didn't value our business or care about our experience. The food was mediocre at best, but the terrible service and owner's attitude made this one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend Bou'ote to anyone and will not be returning.
