Heard about the Pizza Babka and had to go try it! Was NOT disappointed 🤤🤤🤤. Told my friends about it and they’re excited to try it too. Will def be making the detour next time I’m around Brooklyn Bridge Park as should you.

It’s the iconic BREADS BAKERY! Finally opened up its Brooklyn location with a breathtaking view in Brooklyn Bridge Park!
For the last piece of pizza babka, nicely toasted and it tasted just perfect.

Stopped in to their new kiosk by the park around 9am to try their challah loaf and got the sesame challah. Sooo good. Could be eggier for sure but otherwise, ridiculously fresh and pillowy and the sesame brings such savory flavory to every bite, whether butter, cheese, or avocado-topped (photos included). Coming back for the sesame and the plain when they have it. They also serve their usual rugelach, coffee, sandwiches and more.
5 stars!!!!

Outstanding addition to the neighborhood. I'm a fan of savory pastries and their boreks and cheese straws are on point. Also appreciate actual chocolate instead of cocoa powder in their mocha.
opening weekend and they gave us so many extras!! favorite chocolate babka in the city. the rugalech is pretty much a croissant but good nonetheless. i personally wasn’t a big fan of the cinnamon roll because i love frosting and to me it was a croissant with cinnamon sugar on it. cheese stick has been my no. 1 since childhood

Breads Bakery finally opened its branch at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Pavilion and it was so worth the wait! DUMBO is definitely home to some great bakeries -- Almondine and Butler among them. But Breads is a fine addition and its location is unbeatable. Lunch today was a potato bureka and slice of chocolate babka. Both were fantastic. Eager to return to try out even more treats . . .and breads!
