This place brings me back to the 1950s the service was good honestly I don't know how this place is still in business , I guess when you're drunk everything tastes good, the food taste horrible ,a Sabret hot dog tastes better than theirs. The roast beef sandwich didn't taste good at all the onion rings were okay what a waste of money . I won't referring anyone to this place .

Iconic, great staff but the food is just mediocre. Maybe a wet roast beef sandwich is just not for me. The clam chowder was pretty good. Wet roast beef was a bit sad and lacked real flavor. And the onion rings were fine. A bit disappointing. The ambiance and service though were top notch.

Where is the 6 star rating option? Such a great meal and a great experience. Almost 90 years the restaurant has been there, my family goes every time we return to Brooklyn for almost 40 years this is one of our traditions. Delicious beef with cheese.....mmmmmm!
The Best Hot Beef sandwich Ive ever had. My father and I have gone to this spot since the 80s90s.... Food quality is always on point, mugs are ice cold, & the same waiters have treated my family and I great here since we started going. Be back soon 🖖👑

One of the oldest places in Brooklyn. Delicious!! Known for roast beef but I love the cheeseburgers. I've been going since I was a kid. If your going for atmosphere not the place 4 you. Food is delicious!!!
