A nice breakfast spot in an older building. Friendly staff with a variety of breakfast items. Today I enjoyed a roll with eggs and sausage with my coffee. They have a cooler with juices and other drinks. There are several tables up front by the grill as well as a seating area towards the back. Great place for an early morning bteakfast in DUMBO.Parking: There is some street parking nearby if you are here earlier in the day. The area gets packed with cars as the day goes on. There's a paid garage a block or so away.Wheelchair accessibility: It's an older building (1800s) with a large stone slab several inches thick/above the level of the sidewalk at the main entrance.

Very rustic ?, but authentic and absolutely fair prices. For a hot, strong coffee and a good sandwich with bacon and eggs, $7 is fine.

Food was good, not great, but the service sucked. The guy cooking the food is also the cashier and he knows all the customers and priorities them, so he takes his slow time chatting with customers instead of doing his job. Instead of finishing my order which was already done, he stopped and served coffee to one of the regulars who walked in after me, then while I'm standing there at the register waiting for him to bag my order and take my payment, he stops and waits on them again. I had to demand that he finish my order.
My family of four had breakfast here in July and it was great! Large portions of delicious food at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and accommodating to us out-of-towners!

Chicken was dry. Platter is filled up 80% with rice, extra cost to add veggies in my bowl. Maybe just a bad day but usually this spot is good

The food looked good but the issue is price gouging. The stew chicken with rice (Moro) the man said $9. I asked him to put two pieces of broccoli - he didn't say it was extra. The container was a small as well.Go to the counter and the girl goes $10. A whole dollar extra for 2 pieces of broccoli?!! Like get a fucking grip. They can pull this shit on the tourists but I'm actually from BK and know what things cost. If I wasn't hungry, I would've gone home to cook the same thing for less $. I didn't end up taking the food bcuz that's honestly RIDICULOUS. The girl said oh it's extra for vegetables- it was literally 2 pieces of broccoli.ETA: if it was $9.50 I would've been like okay. But like I said, $1 for two small pieces of broccoli? BYE.
