I got the pasta al tonno and the sourbara cocktail; so so good. We shared the fried cod and broccolini, also great. Waiter was lovely! Would come back again.

This is a nice, cozy Italian trattoria with authentic cuisine and warm hospitality! The tartare, lasagna, and ravioli were great. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had-it had just the right amount of sweetness and a perfect ratio of ladyfingers to cream. Thank you!

Omg the food is so freaking mid, how can this place have such high rating and popularity…?
Service and ambiance was great.
But the food was too mid to justify everything else..

So good. I’ve been many times and it’s always been delicious.
Love the food at Briscola from the chef of LaRina. Chef Silvia is the pasta queen! Briscola offers Italian dishes that are more difficult to find stateside. Love the baccala cod, the wagyu carpaccio, the dessert card and literally all the pasta. Went for brunch this time but have been to dinner twice before. Excellent any meal.

Food was tasty but overpriced relative to quality and portion. Servers requested ordering appetizers and mains at the same time, which I have never experienced. Reasonably good if you’re in the neighborhood and can’t find somewhere close but not relative to the other options in the city.

Everything was so delicious and the service was great. Cozy and classic but also very unique dishes and flavors. I’m a vegetarian and there were plenty of options, but the meat eaters in my party were also very happy. The squash appetizer, pasta with chickpeas, and tiramisu were all highlights that I will be going back for :)

Had a great experience here. Our waitress was phenomenal - very welcoming and made excellent recommendations, including a delicious Nebbiolo. While all the food was good, the Ragú was a stand out. Definitely adding this to the neighborhood rotation.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! The tagliatelle al ragu is THE standout — I had never had a pasta dish that stood out to me as the best pasta I’ve ever had, until I tried the ragu at Briscola. I dream about that sauce. We’ve brought family members to Briscola that still talk about the ragu months later, for good reason! It’s absolutely delicious.
I love the cozy atmosphere and how warm and inviting it feels in the restaurant, and when I’ve gotten takeout, it’s just as good as it is when eating in! I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried, and love the rotating seasonal menu. Huge fan of the pistachio cake, too! Briscola is a true gem in the neighborhood.

Easily one of the best authentic Italian meals I’ve had in New York. Anyone who writes something bad about the food here knows zero about Italian food. I am Italian born and raised. I’ve been to all the ‘best’ places in nyc (Lilia, torrisi, carbone, etc.) this is right up there with them all. The ravioli was a ‘10’! The fish entree was perfect. The pistacchio pie redic. So many layers of flavor in every dish! Lorenzo our waiter was awesome! Only knock on whole experience was they were too quick to try and clean up plates in between courses. With food this good, I need time to enjoy it! Highly recommended!

Came here for my birthday and had an outstanding time.
The service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, and our waitress had great recommendations and was fun to interact with.
The atmosphere was more lively than we expected later in the evening on a Thursday, and it really did remind us of Italy. And the dessert cart is cute, great nod to the past.
Now the food, daaaaaamn. Really celebrating the individual ingredients, nothing too complicated but really enjoyable bites. The past was exceptional, the porkchop indulgent, and the desserts were top notch.
Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

Nice medium size restaurant located a couple of long blocks from the Brooklyn Museum. We arrived there Sunday about 3:30, so it was not crowded.
