The onigiri was actually really good. And a decent/normal price. My only beef is that you have to order 15 mins ahead online.
I really liked the spicy salmon. I think it had mustard in it which was actually a nice surprise.

Cool japanese cafe with a roof deck, nice plants, onigiri, ramen soon, and good drip coffee.

i have found a true gem in east williamsburgšŸ’Ž this cafe offers the SMOOTHEST matcha latte šŸµ i have had in my life. microfoam is microfoaming hard. the default version is sweetened. so you have to order unsweetened if that is your preference.

i also tried kombu (seaweed) onigiri šŸ™ the rice to filling ratio is a bit off (too much rice more my liking). kombu filling is perfectly seasoned, combining sweet and savory flavors. seaweed wrap is really soggy since the beginning and kinda too chewy.

this cafe is rather small. but they have wifi, 4 tables and 3-4 bar seats inside. outdoor has only chairs but not tables.

i went on sunday and it was packed since 10am šŸ«¶šŸ» the vibe is industrial with hint of greenery. they also have miso soup and other japanese sandwiches 🄪 i need to try their egg sando very soon.

this used to be the best matcha in Brooklyn but the last several times I’ve been there it’s been so pale it’s basically just sweetened milk. If any of the baristas see this please put more matcha in the matcha lattes :( used to be my go to

Paying this much for a coffee (around $8 for their kyoto mizudashi cold brew) should be illegal but I do admit that it’s good stuff

The best espresso ! Of the 28 coffee shops I’ve tried in NY this is my favorite! Also the sweetest baristas and really good pastries

Strawberry Matcha is the best one I’ve ever had! I would attach a photo, but I devoured it immediately. Perfect sweetness of strawberries, great quality matcha, and there was 2 strawberry pocky’s inside 🤩 Salmon Onigiri was so yummy. def will be going back

Love this place and used to come all the time, came for a onigiri (which one would suppose came in seaweed like any other onigiri) and got home 20 mins away and was met with a soggy bag of lumped up rice. It took me another 20 mins to get back there and the business did nothing to make up for the mistake. Not coming back for a while, was a reliable neighborhood spot - but not anymore - too bad.

Absolutely exceeded what I hoped for. The employees' service care was extraordinary! The quality stays high visit after visit. Each item shows attention to flavor. This restaurant won't fall short.

my favorite matcha in the neighborhood! this is the first stop i make when i come back from a trip. it’s simple but comforting and always so good. i love their onigiri set that comes with two onigiris and edamame. their bentos are also delicious and well-balanced. worth the lines!

I tried the crispy chicken sandwich and a yuzu ginger tea. Both were very good. I appreciated the edemame, salad and potatoes with the sandwich. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was sparse but sufficient.

Brooklyn Ball Factory is one of those little gems that instantly makes you feel cozy. I stopped in and tried their Tiramisu Latte and wow, it was such a treat. Creamy, slightly sweet, and with just the right balance of espresso and that signature tiramisu flavor, it felt like a dessert in a cup without being overwhelming.

The shop itself is small and welcoming, with a calm atmosphere that makes it perfect for sitting down with a book or just taking a breather from the city rush. I really appreciate how they lean into being eco-friendly, from the little details in their setup to the overall vibe of sustainability. It’s nice to see a cafĆ© care about both quality drinks and the environment.

Overall, it’s a simple, thoughtful spot nothing over the top, just good coffee and a good conscience behind it. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood and want something different from the usual chain cafĆ©s.
