Had family dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday. You basically have to seat yourself, place your own orders and retrieve your own food and drinks when it's ready. There were only 2 staff members on site. They were pleasant but you do more work than they do. BUT......the food was great and drinks strong. Menu gave you great options and meats were lean. I would say this restaurant was a pleasant hidden secret.

I would not recommend this place. All the food is cooked and then put in plastic wrap and placed in a heated fridge that's baking in this plastic wrap all day. The brisket was gray colored. The baked beans tasted awful. The only thing that was good was the potato salad and it tasted store bought.

Love the food and the unique bbq flavor. I don’t typically like BBQ sauce but this place made their own super happy with the flavor. I’m a fan of every dish ordered tonight

We got the brisket melt, collard greens, beans, ribs, sausages, and pork belly. It was also big portion we each brought left over home

I am honestly a bit perplexed by all the positive reviews of this place. After living in NYC for more than 10 years, this is one of the worst food experiences I had.

My friends and I really wanted some BBQ so we ordered a wide variety of items. Ribs, brisket, beans, mac and cheese and corn bread. Everything was tasteless and tough. I understand BBQ places have their specialities - some are good with pulled pork or sausages, and some are known for their sides or cornbread. To us, everything was notably bland and of the wrong texture.

We were here more than 8 months ago and we still talk about what a horrible food experience this was.

Wonderful neighborhood gem! It has a chill vibe and the staff are equally chill and nice. We (2 people) got the pick 2 ($27) and enjoyed our brisket and ribs, and the sides are also great! We got the beans and the slaw. The beans were awesome and flavorful. Highly recommend!
It also comes with pickles and onions and corn bread on the side. Give this place a try if you’re in Brooklyn heights!

It’s also a short walk from the Brooklyn bridge if you want to avoid the pricey dumbo restaurants :)

It's a nice BBQ spot. I recommend the beef ribs, pull pork and their greens. I must say their frozen adult beverages are too dire for. I also had a shelled pasta side which was good. Overall, I'll be back.

The place is always clean & service is good. They move really quick. I prefer this location as opposed to others.

The food was great. Antwon was very courteous and helpful. He helped us go through the menu, advised us on a few items, and was super attentive the entire time.
I would definitely return here. I was happily full with a trio combo. It won't disappoint. There's plenty of seating room. Highly recommend.

Brooklyn BBQ is a must-visit for BBQ lovers! The brisket was tender and smoky, and the pulled pork was packed with flavor. The sides, especially the mac and cheese, were fantastic. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend!
