Accidentally bumped into blueberry's that were being stocked and was screamed at by produce guy and then he muttered curse words under his breath. I apologized over an over again and was met with anger and nasty words will tell everyone to stay away from this store

Let's get one thing straight: I'm all for supporting local businesses. The idea of fostering neighborhood stores is one that resonates with many of us. But when supporting local translates to shelling out an arm and a leg for your everyday groceries, one has to question the sanity of the situation. Brooklyn Harvest seems to have cracked the code on how to outprice Whole Foods, and it's not in our favor. Case in point: organic Fuji apples. At $2.99 per pound here, compared to a reasonable $1.99 at Whole Foods, it's as if their prices defy gravity. In my mind, if I'm making the trek to a supermarket, I want it to be worth my while. I wouldn't bother with Brooklyn Harvest unless I found myself in a dire grocery emergency. Even then, it might be tempting to just suck it up and make the journey to a more reasonably priced store, the train ride to Mr. Pina included. But hold on, the price gouging isn't the only flavor in this Brooklyn stew. During my visit with a female friend, we experienced a scenario that felt straight out of a Williamsburg sitcom. One of the employees seemed to have mistaken the grocery aisle for a speed dating event, embarking on a spirited round of flirting and making comments that were, frankly, inappropriate. While I'm all for a bit of charm and whimsy, these overtures were more off-putting than enticing. So, Brooklyn Harvest, in a borough known for its quirks and charm, you've managed to stand out - but for all the wrong reasons. If you're looking for prices that defy economic gravity and a dose of questionable romantic overtures while perusing your produce, this might be your place. Otherwise, those subway rides to Whole Foods or Mr. Pina are starting to seem like more sensible options.

There is an older woman that works as a cashier, she is very polite always greet the customers when they approach her counter. Customer service she provides is awesome. I try to go to her every chance I get. Don't know her name but she is very professional and polite. I hope she doesn't leave she is truly the best ☺️

So everybody already knows this place has the worst prices but do you know how they treat their employees. The domincan manager named rico is the worst person to be working there. He treats the workers like they are slaves he also threatens them every chance he gets. This place is very unprofessional when they had another employee call and fire an employee over the phone with no cause. RICO IS A DISGUSTING PERSON AND SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WORK WITH PEOPLE. He is also unprofessional when he wants to be in employees personal life and gets jealous becuase they have a better life then him. This company will fall and a lawyer will be brought in for unprofessional work ethics and discrimination against employees and customers.

You ppl need to fire the Arab supervisor who works at the North Williamsburg location. He’s rude and has deliberately stop ordering certain products I always shop for. Everytime I inquire about something I regularly bye all of a sudden he stops selling it. He’s also very nasty and rude to the workers. I will be calling corporate to make a formal complaint. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had any issues with products at your store other than this and expired meats.

I love this location because the service they have is outstanding, they help carry groceries if needed. The guys always pick up the cart for you. Amazing service. I like the products they carry.

Prices are generally higher than the rest of the neighborhood, sale prices aren’t matched at the register, and produce / breads can be questionable at times. Would like to support them because they’re kind of local but I find myself avoiding them when possible unfortunately.

Nice small selection of home goods.

Spoiled food, cracked containers. Only noticed after buying and opening.

Basic sandwich on a roll will cost you 8$ if you be able to get one. Cold cuts section lives by its own rules, closing whenever it wants or suddenly deciding that 6PM they won’t make hot sandwiches despite being open till 8Always a gamble
