Cute place in our neighborhood, good tea selection, good portion, friendly staff. We enjoyed our time there.

We had a fantastic Grand Vanderbilt tea service today! Our servers were perfectly attendant while also giving us our space. The owner asked us our tea choices ahead of time so they were brewed and hot upon our arrival. The tearoom is lovely and we enjoyed our spread very much. Our service was 75 minutes and they brought our bill at the end, so don’t plan on spending too much time beyond your selected service, but they didn’t rush us out. At $65 plus tax/tip, it was fun for a semi-special occasion (but is squarely within $$-$$$ nyc restaurant prices). Make a reservation!

This was a phenomenal experience! The tea room was charming, unique, and quiet. The service was excellent and you can let them know you need them with a small sign so you are neither pestered nor ignored. The tea selection was extensive and delicious. We chose the Grand Heights option and are so glad we did since we got to try as many teas as we wanted. The food was good, and I liked being able to try several sandwiches, but they weren't the star of the show. The desserts were exceptional. The chocolate covered strawberries were so good and I am still craving more - I don't know what they put in the chocolate but goodness it was delicious! You can purchase your favorite teas too so if you fall in love with one, you're all set. The neighborhood is lovely, filled with families, and quite close to a park and the subway. We were in the front room, but there is also a garden that was hosting a group event so if you're looking to bring a larger party, that may be an option. I would absolutely recommend this charming and immersive experience!

Had a wonderful time on a mommy daughter date with my 3 year old. They were very accommodating and she loved having a real tea party. I recommend the patio for younger kids as there is a little more space between tables to move around. We will definitely be back!

Charming place. The decor is adorably shabby chic and relaxing. Decorated with lots of pots and pan and tea memoribilia. I enjoyed my honey bush chai. Its was very warming and has a bit of spice. The flavors of the sandwiches are decent. I don’t really like the texture of the bread. It was rather dry. The scone wasn’t so amazing either and the jam was a little too congealed. I didn’t care for the sweets at all. But the ladies that took care of us were so sweet. Bottomless tea was plentiful and can give you a take away cup if you don’t finish your pot.

High tea is all about vibes and this place has plenty to offer. I love the whimsical decors in this place. It’s like stepping into Alice ln Wonderland and there are so many tea wares and cute charms and stuff hanging all around! The tea is fantastic, the food is yummy and the couches are very comfortable. It has such a unique Brooklyn feel to it too!

Really nice high tea. We were not rushed. The sandwiches were nice. Scones fresh from oven. We are coming back.

Had such an amazing experience here. Had a breakfast date here and loved it. The decor and vibe is quaint and cozy. I’ve done a lot of tea time that’s more than double the price (we did the classic which is priced at $55) and this has been my favorite tea time so far. Great service and atmosphere. A perfect place for a girls brunch or date. Highly recommend!

My daughter recently relocated to the area, and I was visiting from out of state. I booked the Grand Vanderbilt Package ($65 per person for 90 minutes) as a way for us to enjoy some quality time together. She's passionate about tea culture, so this felt like an ideal experience in a unique setting. One of the things that drew me to Bklyn High Low was its relaxed, welcoming vibe—it's proudly not a “pinky-up” tea house, yet still delivers the elegance and service you'd expect from a traditional high tea. That balance really appealed to us. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. Since it's by appointment, we rang the doorbell and were greeted by someone who didn't introduce herself but gave us a quick tour before seating us. The space itself is cozy and charming, and the tea selection was excellent. As for the food tier—it was good, though not exceptional. The scone was delicious, but the bread was noticeably dry. Service-wise, there were two staff members working together, but they didn't seem particularly engaged, which slightly dampened the atmosphere. It wasn't a bad experience at all—just perhaps not quite what I had hoped for. It's possible my expectations were a bit too high going in.
