I used to take the train from Sunset Park to Bensonhurst just to get these sandwiches at Lioni’s. It's like a dream come true to have these huge, delicious sandwiches in the neighborhood. Each one is so big, carrying it is like holding a baby. Don't see how anyone can eat an entire sandwich, but I always try. It's really like two meals. They have more than a hundred on the board and trying them all is a bucket-list goal.

The sandwiches are amazing and definitely a must-try from the menu. They’re huge, a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. My only suggestion is for the workers to greet customers, as we were a little confused at first and didn’t realize we were supposed to order by number. There’s a lot to choose from, but the sandwiches are fantastic and perfect for sharing! Atmosphere is small but was okay to eat in.

Enormous sub sandwiches, great value for the money. Very good flavor, but don’t get the deli mustard. They put an outrageous amount on the sandwich.

UPDATE: I doubled back to the store since the app wouldn't let me cancel my order and they were open. I went inside and they had my order. The man at the desk said he saw my review and was extremely apologetic. He exclaimed that they usually open at 11 but they had a late start that day. I had already eaten somewhere else but mistakes happen. At least I didn't lose the $35 spent on the sandwiches.

I called to place an order, and they picked up and asked me to hold. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and no one got back to me. Disappointing service.

The food is great. Expansive menus and the food is pretty fresh. For the size of the food, the price is well worth it. I can't really directly recommend anything because I try something new each time and they're awesome.

Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of pork sandwiches so it might not be the best for halal/kosher. There are some chicken and lamb only sandwiches though.

The sandwich was good , but I suggest the workers who are preparing the sandwiches wear two clean gloves. There is no way you can make sandwiches of this size wearing one glove. Let’s practice cleanliness !!!

Brooklyn has a ton of amazing sandwich shops and this is definitely one of them. Known for its almost too large menu, there’s a handcrafted sandwich for whatever you’re craving.

The Heroes are a slam dunk!!!Tooooooo many choices. $$ & worth it. Here is a tip, don't eat the whole hero, eat the first half, then wrap up the second half, then eat it a few hours later, and you'll still be amazed and satisfied. ?

The order is too slow, the front desk cashier‘s attitude is very bad and fierce, and will never buy it again.
