I went to BK Sweets on Wednesday and bought four banana puddings… and yes, I ate all four by Thursday afternoon! 😅 They are THAT good.
The first time I tried BK Sweets was with a friend, and we completely devoured the banana pudding. After that, we kept missing their open hours and couldn’t make it back. So when I finally caught them this week, I made sure to stock up — and I have zero regrets!
The banana pudding is fresh, flavorful, perfectly sweet, and absolutely addictive. They were even getting ready to close when I arrived, but the display was still fully stocked with so many amazing dessert options.
Big shout-out to Danny for her incredible customer service! She was so friendly, lively, and welcoming — it truly made the experience even better.
I’ll definitely be back on Friday, February 13th to grab four more. That will be my perfect Valentine’s Day treat! 💛🍌

When I say I cried taking the 3rd bite of that carrot cake, I’m not joking. I had been craving a good, moist carrot cake and cream cheese icing for the longest time. Today I bit the bullet, braved the -21°C cold and walked to the cake store to try it. My GAWD that was the most moist, fluffy, nuts rich, creamy cheesy carrot cake I’ve ever eaten!!! 1000% recommend.

Got lured in by the sign out front claiming to have bomb carrot cake so I went in service was kind and phenomenal. Felt very comfortable. Took home a slice of carrot cake for eight dollars pricey but once you try it, it’s worth it because it’s delicious! Support local it matters most!

I got the carrot cake and apple bread pudding with rum sauce and all I can say is YUM! The cake was clearly made with high quality ingredients - it was so moist and the perfect balance of not-too-sweet. I had it with a black coffee and it truly gave me 10 minutes of bliss. The baker who greeted us was so nice and I could tell she took such pride in her work, as she should. The bakery case has some of the most gorgeous cupcakes, cookies, and other treats without being overwhelming. I can’t wait to come back for more!

First, black owned, so go support. Second the treats were soooo good. I went with a friend, she’s from the south and got the sweet potato pie and the lemon cupcake. I got the oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookie and the seasonal apple cinnamon roll. My friend really loves the sweet potato pie and she’s picky about southern food in nyc, she also really liked the lemon cupcake. The cookie I had was BOMB! It was huge too! And the cinnamon roll was sooo good!! You could see the apple chucks! Deff go check this place out, won’t regret it.
