The other morning, I was in Bed-Stuy early for an appointment. The crisp chill in the air left the tip of my nose and my earlobes cold, so I decided to duck into Brooklyn Tea for something warm. The moment I stepped through the door, the cozy atmosphere--and Jaylnn's friendly greeting paired with her warm smile--melted the cold right off me.
I felt so at ease that I nearly forgot why I came in. As I looked around, I couldn't help but admire the tasteful, high-quality décor. The variety of herbal blends was impressive, and the staff's knowledge of their selections was equally so. Soft music floated through the air, adding to the calm. Honestly, I didn't want to leave for work--but I'll definitely be back to sip and relax. Thank you, Brooklyn Tea, for making the start of my day so lovely

I had one of the best iced matcha lattes I've ever had here the other day. It had the perfect matcha to milk ratio and I added in some lavender which was really delicious. I also got a blueberry waffle and I devoured it in like 1 second. Super yummy, not too heavy, and very enjoyable. Staff were also very nice. Hopefully will get to go again soon next time I'm in the area.
Wonderful tea and an even better atmosphere. The folks working here were so sweet and attentive, and the tea selection is fantastic. Great place to work for a morning too!

This place is so cozy and cute, and the staff are very sweet and easy going. Good tea and good wifi. Love to support a truly local place like this. Going with 4 stars because I did find the music loud. The very idea of a tea shop (vs. a bar or even coffee shop) is that it should be a place to relax and clear the head. But it was hard to fully enjoy sipping tea with the music way above what's needed for a very small space. If they can have their baristas pay a little more attention to volume level, I would come here often! Still, a great place to have as an alternative to coffee.

I’m absolutely shocked on how this place still has customers and businesses. I asked for a small iced coffee with regular milk. It took 14 MINUTES to make a small iced coffee, I ended up being late to my meeting at work. I could make a coffee at home in under 5 minutes! The staff is not attentive.

I'm a tea person, so for me is perfect. All sort of teas; you can drink hot or cold. Also pastries wraps, cookies, etc They have available t-shirt cops, pants and tea you can buy with the Brooklyn Tea Logo. Is not a huge space, however seats available and a few chairs & table outside. The staff are lovely & helpful..is very clean and restrooms available.
