Stumbled upon this place after missing the bus with a friend and we both were so glad we did.
It was tasty, and really solid for the price. Chicken was a tad dry but flavor was good. Bun was a little dry as well, I’ve had really fluffy Bao so this wasn’t nearly as good but still solid.
Two buns that are healthily sized for $12 is great (03/2025)
My friend got the meal for $17.95 , she’s vegetarian and throughly enjoyed her meal, the sweet potato fries are big enough to share for two people (the fries stole the show) and the salad was somehow also very tasty.
I will be back to try more of the menu!

The donburi isn’t as good as the rice bowls they used to make. The new vegetables are bland and weird like they’re pre frozen vs the fresh tomatoes and edemame they used to use. Sadly we won’t order here anymore.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. The black rice is a nice touch- works well as a base and certainly stands out. Just wasn’t my favorite. The side condiments/refreshers- ginger= very mild and artificial tasting, wasabi- too small a portion for amount of sushi rolls I had; also very mild, soy sauce= claims to be less sodium- not the usual kikoman quality, more off brand and absolutely a salt bomb. The boba was refreshing and delicious and loved the sweet potato fries. Overall just quality of ingredients can be better. It’s nice to have a niche, but the niche should not compromise the experience and final product/ it ought to elevate the meal- otherwise, why change it.

The decor is very cute and it is nice and clean! The servers are also attentive! I will definitely return! Thank you for a great experience!

Sweet potato fries - absolutely amazing. One of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had - the Sunset Blvd roll. The flavors??? IMMENSE. The Jade Dragon roll, also superb. I cannot wait to come back and try more! Thank you for an exceptional experience.

I love this place. I love the atmosphere with Japanese music. The staff is really kind and attentive. They have really nice combo menus. Really good vegan options (though not that many gluten free). Most things have soy, so it can be difficult if you are allergic. Their menu has really good signaling for gluten free and for vegan options.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem and is SO GOOD for vegan and vegetarian options! The vegan sushi is some of the best I have had :) the zen garden is so cute in the back

The food and drinks were absolutely excellent. The burgogi buns were amazing. Some of the best burgogi I’ve had in a while! Highly recommended! I’m excited to try more and already looking forward to the next time I go there.
