Bushwick Bakery is a hidden gem that delivers on flavor, quality, and charm. I tried the pistachio croissant and the Pain Au Chocolat, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The pistachio croissant had a perfectly baked foundation, filled with a rich pistachio cream, and its glossy finish with green stripes immediately caught my eye. The Pain Au Chocolat was equally impressive—two generous strips of decadent chocolate nestled inside a massive, buttery croissant-like pastry. The croissant itself was the star, with a flaky, flavorful texture that elevated the experience.
The bakery’s atmosphere is clean and inviting, with a homely exterior that offers a refreshing break from the city’s hard edges. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warmth of the visit.
The pricing is exceptionally fair, with these massive, high-quality pastries priced at just $6 each. For the size and craftsmanship, it’s a steal.
Bushwick Bakery’s standout items are undoubtedly its pastries—big, flavorful, and crafted with great attention to detail. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to treat yourself here. Highly recommended!

I ordered a Uber eats pickup for a holiday pie. I was told they didn’t have any but to pick a a few smaller pies. Not really what I wanted to do since it was for a holiday party but the staff was a bit aggressive in having me pick that option. They looked great but not sure how they tasted, didn’t get a chance to try them.
I also ordered a smoked salmon sandwich which was tasty but very overpriced. For two small personal pies and the sandwich I paid around 40 dollars. The ambiance is pretty nice, limited indoor and outdoor seating options.

The croissant and cinnamon roll are pretty good. The quiche are good. The baguettes are… well, they’re not baguettes. Sorry. That’s not what a baguette feels or tastes like. Not sure what they’re doing wrong there.

this place is so good. we just came across it one day going somewhere else and just by the look we gave it a try and we were so happy about it that we went a couple times. the food is so so good. also the pastries are supreme. the ambience is amazing, the music fits just perfect, the light and everything makes you want to stay there for hours. also one of the best prices I’ve found in Brooklyn. could not recommend it hard enough.

A cute and quiet little cafe tucked away in Bushwick, they serve delectable pastries and delicious coffee. I particularly loved their cinnamon roll. Perfect place to grab a quick bite, study and work, or just hang out.

I love this spot! All the baked goodies are show stoppers and most importantly- they open proper early!! (THANK GOD!) Bushwick is a neighborhood that wakes up soooooo slllooowww. You cannot get a coffee before 9 or brunch before noon! It’s crazy! So if you have a dog or a baby or a job that has you leaving the house before 9, hard to find an open coffee shop. I come here. (Open at 7:30!) grab a coffee and a ham and cheese croissant Sammy and my day is off to a great start!

I’m from France, been in NY 14 years! Their croissant is very good!!! Trust me I have a hard time finding a good croissant in NY. It opens earlier than any other bakeries in Bushwick too!

I found this lovely little place online, searching for a birthday treat for my daughter. The beauty of internet being able to order most delicious treats from Ireland for her to enjoy in NYC. I’m told all the pastries are delicious, thank you !
