They painted over the art and the Beastie Boys mural, its just grey/green walls and it looks awful. They have an opportunity to be an anchor in the neighborhood but they can't keep employees and I don't know why
this place gave me the creeps - it's the type of place you'd expect to not even have a liquor license. it'd be much cooler if it was just a basement, lose the pretentious and offbeat bar/café up top. a haven for trust fund kids, sex pests, and hipsters - welcome to bushwick! but i'll still reluctantly return if good artists continue to get booked here. also, only having a single bathroom for an (occasional) show space kinda sucks
This place was electric. Amelia was an amazing bartender. There’s coffee, pool, alcohol, whatever floats your fancy. We went to a show downstairs and it was perfectly accommodated with cool lights and a great spun system. Dope local spot.
