Having recently moved to Bushwick, I’ve been looking for some tacos like my mama would make. I know I’ll never find anything quite the same but Bushwick Taco Company is pretty good. Meat is well portioned and seasoned. Salsas they serve you are delicious and have heat. The one thing I was perplexed was that they add lettuce/cabbage (I’m not sure which one) to the taco alongside then usual cilantro and onion. Staff was friendly. Seating area is small so not suitable for large...
The tinga bowl hits the spot 😮💨 Horchata is delicious too, thick and cinnamony, not watery like some other spots. Plus, prices are great for the neighborhood and the portion was on the generous side.
