My favorite breakfast spot to go to in the Stuy. Cute ambience, friendly staff, great service and the food is delicious. The delivery is out of my area but driving to pickup the food is worth it.
Was planning on ordering but good thing I checked the reviews first. I won't support a business where the owner steals the tips earned by their staff. Totally immoral behavior!
I asked for a bacon cheese & spinach omelette & got everything besides the cheese . Plus other things I ordered for my carry out were not in my bag. Staff is nice but obviously not paying to much attention .
I stopped in for a coffee. Very cute place. Offers wifi, news plays in the background. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend!
Today was my first day trying this spot and sorry to say that I didn’t enjoy it at all!!!! The red velvet waffles were burnt and horrible!!! And the customer service sucked!! I try to support black owned businesses but I will not be returning.Sincerely your,Unsatisfied Customer ☹️
We just ordered a turkey lettuce and tomato and bacon egg and cheese on croissants and our boys loved it. 2 orders of chicken and waffles with a mishap with a chefs quality syrup! Called Butch and Coco and received the best customer service. Fully understanding, patient and helping. I didn't get the name of the woman who assisted me but the food is delicious. Worth the wait!
Great experience, they have great food.
I love that this black owned cafe is close to home. Their food has never disappointed. The service is hit or miss and the wait time for your order is on the longer side. Great spot for brunch in walking distance.
I overheard an older woman try to give a server a tip today and he told her that they can't take tips and that they go to the owners? I feel like something is wrong there
even though their hours say they open at 7am, when i got there at 9am it seemed like they were just opening up. i ordered an iced latte, but then was informed a moment later that they were out of ice, which i found very odd (i ended up getting a hot latte, which didn’t taste good.). i chose to dine in, but half of the lights were off, and the general vibe just seemed disorganized. my sandwich was good, but it was either that or the latte that ended up with me getting some kind of stomach virus that essentially ruined my day. and i’m on vacation here, so thanks (not) for ruining my saturday night plans with my friends.update: the milk used for my latte was definitely sour/expired. if you do not want to spend your afternoon in the bathroom, do not go here.

The BLT was the equivalent to a $3 bodega BLT. My companions food was overpriced and bland. Boring menu and with such a variety of awesome food within a mile of this place I was dissatisfied to say the least. I have no clue who finds this food good but me and my friends didn't.
Let me start of by saying I absolutely love the food, the menu is well thought out and the selections are both classic, yet diverse. I also support that they are a Black-Owned-Local business and one of the only decent breakfast restaurants in Bed-Stuy. To help streamline my thoughts on the two times i’ve eaten there i’d like to point out some basic pros and cons.Pros:The food is delicious, well made and simpleThe pricing is competitiveThe interior is welcoming and well-thought outCons:The staff is extremely under-trained and disorganized, Inconsistent with wearing face mask. The wait times for anything….water, seating, food- can be exceedingly highThe coffee is consistently poor and should not be purchased. I highly recommend for the staff to go through basic barista training because for a breakfast restaurant you would expect to get a decent cappuccino or latte when having food. However both times I went there at different times of the day & even when it was a fresh pot of coffee it still tasted like it was instant with grinds swirling around the cup.I really hope the restaurant sees his review & it takes It seriously because I Thoroughly enjoy eating there and I do like that it’s so close to me. however, it is not fair for a customer to have such inconsistent experiences with every visit and have to plan out how to get coffee at another location just for it to be drinkable
I usually love this place but last time I ordered via doordash I got the wrong meal and my orange juice had a hair in it and the cup was dirty ??
I ordered through Uber eats I will never do it again
Ordered for pickup and got there about 10min after I was told my food would be ready. After waiting for almost 45min I was finally told that my order actually hadn’t been taken to the kitchen. While waiting there they had messed up a few orders, a couple who had come in to eat indoors left bc they hadn’t been acknowledged after sitting for 15min, and another person had been waiting a while for a coffee. I requested a refund and left. Didn’t even get to try the food but it probably wouldn’t have been worth the wait...
