We had breakfast here and it was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Butler Avocado Toast, and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The combination of flavors was incredible — the creamy avocado, feta, roasted seeds, and the lemon poppy tahini worked perfectly together. Every single component was spot on and beautifully balanced. I’ve never had an avocado toast like this before. Highly recommended for breakfast or brunch!

A coffee shop that deserves its high rating! We stopped by Butler to have a light snack and coffee. Ample seating. Got the corner table, super aesthetic location and even better delicacies. Tiramisu latte was the best blend of sweet and bitter, and the avocado lemon thyme cake was just phenomenal. Melts in your mouth!! Barista was very sweet.

Cute breakfast spot and very good coffee. Espresso was strong, smooth and not bitter Didn’t have the chance to eat at this spot, however breakfast options from diners looked very giod and with generous portions. Must try again for breakfast.
It was open early, which made it perfect for a morning coffee. We had an oat milk latte and a slice of cake, both were good. We arrived just before the big rush though. After 7:30 a.m., finding a seat would be difficult. Great location (We went there after watching the sunrise at the Brooklyn Bridge.)

Here is an update to my review. The management told me the person was let go because of the incident. I go regularly to Butler in Dumbo with my young grandchildren. They look forward and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The staff recognize us as regular customers and are kind and welcoming. However this past weekend we had a horrible experience with the person that took our order. Right after I paid and walked away I realized I forgot to order a hot chocolate for my 5 year old jgranddaughter. I came back to the person that took our order to ask for a the hot chocolate. She told me to go back to the end of the line. I said never mind and walked away. The Barista realized the problem. Unbeknown to me He prepared a hot chocolate and called me over to pick it up. He entered the amount. I introduced my credit card to pay. Then as I began to enter a tip, the same person that asked me to go back to the end of the line, abruptly took over the cashier machine. I indicated that was trying to enter a tip. In a very agressive and a threatening tone She told me “ get out of my face”. She repeated more than once. I was quite surprised. My 5 year old granddaughter became concerned. The incident was witnessed by a person who indicated she is a mgr. The only justification for the rude and agressive behavior is that her colleague was willing to serve us the hot chocolate w/o having to go back to the end of the line.

We ordered two empanadas which were served cold. We asked them to be reheated and still were served cold. My vanilla latte also managed to be served cold. They also forgot our muffin. Overall a horrible breakfast experience.
