For a French-Japanese brand, neither the croissant or the matcha was good. The matcha was pre-mixed and not prepared on the spot with a chasen. It is a nice place to work from, and the interior is very bright, which is its redeeming quality.

I stepped into Cafe Kitsune Bk it was bustling with good energy every guest was chatting, reading or enjoying a treat. I waited shortly for my turn to order and when it the time came the Baristas and Tashira in particular was super welcoming. Over all good vibes, the music playlist was fun. I ordered a mocha Latte it was delicious and also had the chili cheese palmier were delightful. The staff's suggestions were spot on ! I give this cafe 5 stars and will be visiting again when in town!!

Cute cafe in Brooklyn with good vibes and great staff to match the energy. I enjoyed a Pain au chocolat that paired well with one of the best vanilla oat latte I have had as of late, made by Tashira. It was my first time there and I was in and out but they do offer seating and next time I will stay awhile and enjoy my treats.

This is the neighborhood’s living room. Great place to come read a book, the coffee is always solid, and the staff are such good people (shout-out to Adrian in particular). This place went through a rough patch the first half of 2024 but new management definitely turned it back around (and even upped the pastry game).
I came in the other morning, I wanted to order 2 hot americanos and have it be poured into my personal mug to keep it warm. The barista said she had to ask her supervisor if she was able to do that for me and the supervisor was extremely rude about it. I’m not sure but usually cafes offer great hospitality and I would expect at least the management team to be welcoming but this supervisor told me I must buy a branded mug from them in order for that to work and had a mean demeanor and attitude about it I was confused as to why they couldn’t just measure the exact portions for me and add it into my mug? I also saw the other day this supervisor eating lunch, a bag of chips in the cafe area and that goes against food safety regulations. Unprofessional. Overall I’d give the service a 1 star rating, I’ve never walked into a shop and have a manager be rude to me, almost like she was doing it purposely. I was willing to give this coffee shop a chance as I’m a local in the neighborhood but I’d say just stick to the west village location.
