It was my third time coming here. This time we brought some of our friends and did the prixe fixe option and got to sample everything. My favorite was the monkey bread! But my friends were ranting and raving about the lemon pasta. I love that nearly the whole staff cycled through and came by our table. They were so kind and friendly, and the owner is just such a warm fun/funny guy. He gave me an extra serving of the monkey bread after I told him how much I loved it.

This was a return visit for me and again was not disappointed! This is a welcoming, creative space with a menu selection that guarantees great quality and flavor. Paul, owner and on site staff member, ensures allergy concerns are addressed without a fuss. Just make a note in your reservation and let the staff member take it from there!!!

Interesting concept, very tasty Pasta with lemon 🍋 butter sauce , fish ceviche, and very delicious scallops! We'll definitely come back!!!

A totally cool and unique dining experience. One infused with fun, light heartedness, and really interesting food. So impressive to see a place like this pulling together so many elements and making it work

Had a fantastic dinner at Cafe Mars for my birthday - all the dishes we tried were interesting and clever and delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The vibe was chill and had just the right level of energy - not too noisy, not too quiet. Excited to return at some point and try the other dishes!

This was our first time. We had a show in the area and had dinner before. Everything and everyone was pitch perfect. The food is exciting and excellent and the staff and the vibe was warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back!!

We always have a lovely dinner at Cafe Mars! Delicious and unusual (but not too unusual) food, amazing cocktails. The service was (as usual) impeccable - friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome to be there. Thank you for another fun and tasty night!

The first clue that you're in for a fun experience is the neon sign in the window. Then you spot the curved bar chairs with their funky legs. The booths with a glow coming from a curved panel in the wall. The small silverware drawer that slides out of the tables. This, you think, is going to be delightful. You're not wrong. Your server arrives with a basket filled with brightly colored, mismatched glassware for a welcoming "splash." And then the food begins to arrive. The monkey bread is swoony. The olives suspended in cherry-red jell are tremendously fun. The chicken wings are tender and also crunchy, and make everyone smile. But the best thing of all is the experience marked "Mozzarella time?!" on the menu, which is when the kitchen sends out bowls of warm, freshly-made mozzarella. You aren't prepared for how this stretchy, salty goodness will turn out to be one of the best things you've EVER put into your mouth. Sometimes "playful" and "incredibly delicious" don't go together, but here: THEY DO. Still dreaming about it. 10/10.

The inside is cute and we appreciated the creativity! The food was 50/50: monkey bread and lemon pasta were ah-mazing and worth the trip! The fried figs, while individually delicious, was overall a clunky dish. The scallop dish missed the mark. The service was good, however, it was really odd to have the utensil drawer being restocked at our table multiple times during our meal.

We hosted our wedding reception at Cafe Mars and it was perfection! Jordan and Paul worked with us to create an ideal menu. So much time and attention was paid to every detail. Our guests raved about the food and the decor, and we felt that we had an evening that really represented our style. Thank you so much!

I was hesitant to try Cafe Mars. The trendy aesthetic, marketing, and menu turned me
off. My cynicism was washed away this past Friday night thanks to the level of service, fun atmosphere, and creative dishes. Make no mistake the team here is serious about their craft. I have many times paid more for lesser dining in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Worth checking out!
