A charming spot across from Fort Greene Park. Excellent food and service, and a wonderful cafe atmosphere. Dined indoors both times we've been here but they have an outdoor option, too. Enjoyed the rainbow trout, some oysters, and a chilled red they suggested. Hope to be back again soon.

Oh my word - amazing. Just absolutely amazing. From the service to the phenomenal wine and charcuterie to the outdoor bistro tables in the shade - it was a true delight from start to finish.

It was our first time in this neighborhood, and when we came here the first time, there were two guys serving — we had a great experience. We tried two glasses of rosé wine and some cheese, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. That’s why we decided to come back and bring a friend with us.
Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. This time, a woman was serving. We spent $100 for a happy hour with a bottle of wine, some cheese, and small bites. I left a custom tip of $10, but she came back to our table asking if there was a problem with the service. I said, “No, why?” and she replied that customers who are happy usually leave a 20% tip.
I explained I’m Italian and tipping culture is different in Italy, but that I’m trying to learn and will do better next time. Despite our kindness and the fact that we paid $100, her attitude toward us felt unwelcoming and unprofessional.
I’m sorry, but this is not the way customers should be treated, especially when they come back and bring new people to discover the place.

It’s a lovely little restaurant, but we had to move the moment we sat down because the sun is like fire burning through the windows onto your face. They really need to get blinds for the windows. We moved to the back by the bathroom, but it was fine. The bibb salad was disappointing - it was delicious, but we really didn’t need the stem of the head of lettuce still attached. And we said two of us would share the salad, but we only received the whole thing in one bowl, so then we had to ask for a second bowl because you can’t put half a salad on a little bread plate. Other than these minor, minor complaints, the waitstaff was lovely and the food was quite delicious and very plentiful. All four of us would definitely go back.

Nice brunch spot with cute views of fort greene park. We ordered eggs benedict which was really good—the ham they use is different from canadian bacon. The ham is sliced thin and has a very nice smoky flavor. The hollandaise sauce is also well seasoned and I’m glad they don’t drench the dish with it. Comes with yummy fries and a side salad to balance things out. The side order of bacon was also good. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the drinks were somewhat disappointing for a cafe spot like this. The oat milk matcha was flat and watery (i think it has to do with lots of melted ice and the type of grainy oat milk they use, also not enough matcha powder) the iced coffee was also just mediocre, ice was pretty much all melted and kinda tasted like weak deli coffee. I will say the fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing.

Cafe Paulette is a true local gem! Angelique, the owner, leads an exceptional team and always makes our visits to the restaurant special. The food is excellent - by far my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn - and the atmosphere and service make it feel like a special occasion every time we eat there. Thank you, Cafe P!

the food is decent but i LOATHE the seating arrangement inside. having to move the tables to get in/out of your seat is annoying and it gets so loud because the tables are right next to each other. i could barely hear my friend sitting directly across from me.

Make sure you double check your receipts. Left a tip via card and then got chased out of the restaurant by our server (who barely served us) asking for a cash tip. Great food. Poor service. Won’t be back.

Cool vibe. Food was mediocre. French restaurant with no baguettes. Bartender forgot to relay my order so no food for an extra 30 minutes until I reengaged.
