The owner is in a groupchat “biker gang” of about 20-40 people. They all rated his cafe and they make different accounts to try to keep the ratings high. The owner used to own a pizza restaurant and it closed down because his wife divorced him and took the pizza restaurant. The baristas are nasty. They don’t know how to make coffee. And there were small green bugs running on my pita bread. They’ve mastered being able to ruin your experience. It could be a nice place, but they are just nasty. The barista was wiping her shirt with the silverware. Thats horrible. There was a barista there a couple of years ago, when the store opened that made some great coffee. I’ve never had coffee as good as that in a while. I definitely would have made this my go-to spot if they kept him. Disappointing.

Living in the neighborhood, I've had the chance to visit this spot once or twice. The food here is absolutely delicious, and it's the perfect place for a casual lunch, coffee, or brunch. But, here's the kicker - the lady at the front is just plain rude and unpleasant. It's disappointing to spend your money and get an attitude in return. Don't get me wrong, the place itself is pretty decent, and the food is top-notch. However, there are plenty of other options around where you can enjoy a fantastic meal and actually feel welcomed. It's a shame that the overall experience is soured by the unfriendly front-of-house staff.

What a surprising find and are we happy! Such interesting unique (to me) options and plenty of vegetarian food, creative! The cauliflower pita was cinnamony & good especially with some added dips. The tuna was quite good, even my 11y liked. 13y liked the sausage sandwich. Had to fend off family from the dips and soft seasoned pita ;) Will definitely be ordering here again!

Absolutely love this place, it’s one of my favorite spots in GP. The vegan options are plentiful and delicious (and so I’ve heard about the non veg options). Staff is super friendly, coffee is good, nice backyard area. My boyfriend and I love Alula and come often!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options, all delicious and clearly labeled!Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and GF options, all clearly labeled
