I would give it 10 stars if I could. Great coffee and selection of books. Nice seating out front where you can read and enjoy your drink and pastry.

Love the vibe and atmosphere of this place! Amazing collection of books, and have lots of ways to support the community, and good coffee. A few tables outside for seating.

For years I held onto this email because I didn't know if it'd be worth it to speak up for myself. But after showing this to my friends, family, and therapist, I feel the need to share. In 2022, after a month of emails and interviews, I accepted employment at cafe con libros, only to receive this email after asking when I could start. Attached is my response. Even now, I can only hope to receive the apology I deserve and the promise that such blatant abilism is not practiced here anymore - and this is coming from someone who does not have a legal disability! I was recovering from a tooth abscess/sinus infection at the time, which Ambuir and Kalima knew when they offered me employment. The virtue signaling here made it seem like offering the position and then taking it away (before I even entered the store) was in my best interest. Now I see that I should hold community spaces up to their own standards. I hope they do better.

The person working there was super kind and helpful! This is a cute little bookstore with wonderful finds from a variety of female authors with an assortment of genres. The store is a bit small with minimal outdoor seating. I got a latte and it was good! Would absolutely recommend!!

I signed up for their book club in 2021 as a gift to my wife. She recently asked me to cancel and found that I was unable to log into their site using any of my email addresses so I contacted them by email on May 15th requesting the cancellation. On the 17th, they asked which service it was for and I let them know 3 minutes after their request. It took another 5 days to process the cancellation and I was charged for another month since it was not handled in a timely enough manner. I did leave a voicemail asking that they reach out and process a refund since my request was made to cancel before my charge date. Will amend or remove review depending on their response.

Super cute little coffee shop with lots of books from authors around the world, focusing on black and indigenous authors.

Friendly store with an amazing selection of feminist, latinx, lgbtq+, black books, adult and children. Also, their coffee selection and bakery goods are excellent.
