The food looked nice from a Google search so I decided to give it a try for dinner. A little taste of home for a North African who has missed it for a while.

The food was fine for the most part other than some vegetables in the couscous being undercooked.

Other than the laughable hipster vibe they're obviously catering to, the service was a joke and the music was too loud. I want to eat in a restaurant, not a club. Our waitress didnt check back in the whole time after taking our order and we had to flag her down for the check.

Another gripe was the weird table we got, sandwiched between a round table and a column. We asked for a change but no luck. All in all, if the focus could shift from ambience to food and service, this place has potential.

Great little Mediterranean spot in Brooklyn. You might want to make a reservation if you want a table because it was extremely busy even during the week. I ended up sitting at the bar but I didn't mind because I got great service. They even have Turkish coffee. So awesome. Everything I ate was amazing and they have vegan options. The wines by the glass are excellent. Highly recommended!!

Sometimes the best dining experiences happen by chance. We didn’t have a reservation, but thanks to a last-minute no-show, we were seated right away — lucky doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The evening started with a glass of blanc de blanc, crisp and celebratory, setting just the right tone. The food exceeded expectations: a melt-off-the-bone lamb shank served with perfectly seasoned rice, and a beautifully prepared duck confit, rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. Both dishes balanced comfort with refinement.

Service was smooth and attentive, never rushed, and the atmosphere added to the sense that we had stumbled into something special. What could have been an ordinary night turned into one of those meals you remember for all the right reasons.

We ordered two lamb shank tagines and bastilla, the meat on the tagines was a pretty generous amount on the bone. My only minor complaint was that the meat could've been more tender. The prunes and apricot sauce is really sweet so just beware in case you want something a bit more savory (recommend the Casablanca sauce instead)

The bastilla was a bit dry so that wasn't really my preference, wouldn't order that again.

Overall, the food is pretty good, just a a few minor things that I personally did not prefer.

Great food and service. Not a good place to hold a conversation. Pretty loud. Maybe sitting outside would be better. Lamb shanks were as good as home made.

This place was amazing. The food, the atmosphere.. I would highly recommend. we got the blackened chicken and the couscous w/chicken and both dishes were delicious. The place does get packed so there is a bit of a wait time but totally worth it!

Always a must in Williamsburg! Seated right away in the back garden, kind staff and tasty dishes 😋

A must if you enjoy Babaganoush, hummus, halloumi and North African & middle eastern cuisine.
