Barista was dismissive and unprofessional. I made a simple request, and the response was, “We don’t have time for that, sorry.” With so many great coffee shops in the neighborhood, I won’t be coming back.

Was so excited to try this place. Love the interior and the vibes here but barista was so rude. Got my order wrong and then proceeded to argue with me and insinuate it was my fault for not catching the mistake when i checked out. Then remade me the correct drink with little to no effort. Drink was essentially just warm milk. So bad couldn’t even drink it and threw it out. I’m sure they serve great drinks but the lack of respect in addition to remaking the drink with no effort at all was really disappointing. Will not be going back.

Nothing regular (as in, average) about this one stop shop for all your needs — a little pastry bear? Check. A nice double or single latte (as you prefer)? Check. And a subscription to NYRB and LRB that will make you the hottest conversationalist around the park slope literary scene (or with the little bookish doggies parked on the slope outside). This place is fire. 🔥

Charming inside! Retro vibe. Service was fast but chilly — I only stopped by once so it could’ve been a one-off! Iced oat latte was solid. I’d love to sit outside next time at one of the two tiny tables! Super cute.

This is the sweetest little cafe with a nice dark interior. My favorite! My (now) husband and I had a morning date here, and it was in this moment with him that I knew I wanted to get married. The ambiance of this place helped to nurture my feelings of love. I will never forget it.
Coffee is La Colombe so nothing special. You go here for the vibes. Plus nice outdoor seating when the weather is good.

Regularly travel over here from Boerum Hill for an affordable cappuccino. Prices have not gone up since before the pandemic and I am so grateful for it!
Beyond the amazing value, the taste of all espresso beverages is strong and espresso forward. Baristas are friendly and efficient. Treat yourself and grab a cookie with the money you saved on the coffee.
