Moved down the block. Food consistent and delicious. Large portions, reasonable pricing. Good wine list. Lower level is a challenge for handicapped

Food was great, BUT, we ate outside since I don't feel comfortable eating inside as yet. Garden was attractive & quiet, but tables needed cleaning & waitstaff forgot about us.

I don't really like Italian food here. But their lunch special with fish was good and filling

Ordered three seafood linguines in white sauce for pick up. Very flavorful, just the right amount of sauce and the seafood was cooked perfectly.

Food is OK. Not bad, not great. They're not that consistent with the quality. The last time we ordered, the pasta was over cooked and really mushy.

The back patio transforms you to Italy! It’s so cute and unique and the food and service are top notch. Highly recommend!

I’ve only gotten delivery so far but it’s been delicious every time! This has become one of my go-to Italian pasta dinner night places. Any of their pastas with vodka sauce — so good!! Looking forward to visiting in person someday!

If you're looking for amazing Italian take-out look no further. Caffe Buon Gusto is affordable, delicious and they give you HUGE portions. For delivery, I got a Caesar salad and spaghetti and meatballs. It came with complimentary bread. Everything was delicious, I was so full and had leftovers. Will definitely order from here again. Oh, and if you're a vodka sauce lover you HAVE to try theirs. It's to die for

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot clean at all times. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

Delicious. I live around the corner and pass this place all the time, but I’ve never been in. I ordered the chicken paillard for takeout, and for $16, you get two big thin sliced chicken breasts, pasta, salad, and focaccia. Super fresh and flavorful.

Sorry guys. Despite a lovely server ,food left much to be desired.Veal fra diabolo sauce was without heat, looked love me vodka sauce and the fresh sliced baby tomatoes were bitter.Bread was stale .Chocolate mouse was a cake slice from a box. Very uninspired.

This small Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side gets great reviews so my girlfriend and I were excited to check it out. Sadly we were underwhelmed by the food, though the location is cozy and romantic and the waitstaff was perfectly pleasant. The prices are also quite affordable. The pasta dishes come in huge portions and are very heavy, but the flavors fall short. The flavors were fine but nothing ground breaking or exciting. For the amount of great Italian food to be found in the city, Caffe Buon Gusto falls into the category of an instagram trap as it is over hyped for the food that is actually served. And that's the tea.
