Disgusting food. Everyone in my family threw it out and had to order elsewhere.
The meat tasted like it was sitting in the open for three days.
The rice was hard as a rock, like 10% of it wasn't even cooked, just sprinkled straight from the bag into the mix.
Inedible.
Save your money.

Stopped by in the morning I had take out, Los 3 Golpes, eggs, salami, cheese and mashed green plantain with red onions, a beef and chicken/cheese empanadas, carrot cake and a coffee, food was delicious worth stopping by if you are around the area in Bay Ridge, that’s my order, when I’m visiting Washington Heights. Staff’s attentive and place is CLEAN. It’s a nice atmosphere to eat in assorted hot food.

Too Long Didn’t Read (TLDR)
5 Stars for the following:

-The service is impeccable.
-Actually makes you feel welcomed as though you were missed.
-Food is AUTHENTIC like eating with a Spanish family after church on Sunday
-Newly renovated and CLEAN.
-Attentive staff that actually cares.
-2 entrances so the traffic flows and you’re not overwhelmed by people.

Campo Bello is a Latino’s Heaven for Spanish food. This is AUTHENTIC Dominican food for the soul in the middle of Bayridge! The flavor is exactly the same as my childhood with my aunt cooking for me on Sunday’s after church. Everything is full of flavor and makes you want to savor all bites. It’s buffet style food where you can see everything but here’s why this place gets 5 stars

The. Service. Is. Impeccable.

I walked in and I was greeted and made feel as though I was missed. Not only was I served personally in a buffet style restaurant, I was also tended to periodically while the restaurant was packed.

Unlike other restaurants the desserts and drinks are easily accessible. There’s a fridge you can just get up and grab a slice of cake, drink of all kinds (Coke/Pepsi products and their juices) and the owners just add it to your bill.

The seating is right next the HUGE windows that let you see everyone passing by. It’s the perfect place to sit down and relax to have some good home cooked food!

The music isn’t deafening loud like in other Spanish restaurants so it’s actually pleasant to sit down and eat.

Everything is newly renovated and CLEAN. If you’ve read my post you know important this is to me.

There’s 2 entrances making the flow of food traffic easier since you go in 1 way and you come out the other way.

They’ve been here 10+ years and are on Uber Eats Grubhub so it’s not like it’s “Too far to order from.” It’s a fantastic place to try AUTHENTIC Dominican food

CB2 cooks Breakfast lunch and dinner and every course is different. Smoothies, Green juices and healthy drinks are available and are on the menu. I WISH I were here for breakfast I’ll come back for it and when I do, I’ll write another review.

They take care and cash and you don’t want to t pay with card, there’s an ATM inside too

If you come to eat here, make sure you leave a great review because this place is great.

The staff, food and atmosphere was perfect. The taste is so authentic being Dominican myself it felt like my mother or father made the food. Tres Golpes, Morir Soñando y Empanadas on command was what really did it. Look no further if you’re thinking of soulful and tasteful food!

Horrible! I don’t appreciate the lady with the glasses very rude nasty attitude towards her customers. This is the second time I ordered food from this place &’ for some reason she doesn’t want people who spend nearly $80 dollars on food that doesn’t even come out her paycheck. I order chicharron to be freshly made and she lies stating it’s fresh when it’s broken into pieces from the front of the store. I don’t come here wanting to waste my money. I like to spend my hard working money on some good food not no crap that’s been out all day. She has some type of animosity towards me and my cousin which we don’t appreciate because we come all the way from Staten Island to have this food. The first time we had nice fresh crispy chicharron it was amazing. We came back a second time and she told us she didn’t have time to make it which was understandable because it was getting late and was told if we want chicharron we have to order it a head of time which we did yesterday and I’m guessing she heard my voice and didn’t respect to give us what we expected for our dinner and then when I brought it to her attention she was just very rude about it. Never will I ever come here again.

On August 29 of this year, we wanted to try Dominican food and my husband found this place. One nice afternoon we went and the food was 10/10. Janice's service was excellent, but we don't have the name of her colleague, the cashier. We charged her on the 15th. % in tips without asking us and charged 2 extra orders that we did not order. At the time I didn't notice the additional charge and we left cash tips in the jar they have next to the cash register, which was 8 dollars. If that means that one asks for the invoice, what will it be like when people don't ask for the invoice? Don't be dishonest on that side. Just one employee can damage everything.

Recommendations: always ask the value of each thing, for each dish, don't be embarrassed about the money you are going to pay.

Always check your bill before leaving the establishment. That way there are no surprises...

The place is small, homey, its delicious food, only at the time of paying if it is doubtful.

I will never go back there they gave me pre-cooked rice in 3 small orders and charged me almost $60

Ordered chicharron, and a pernil combo. The pernil was extremely dry. The chicharron was over fried to the point where even the fat was hard to bite into.
