Ordered a Tequeño platter for a gathering and it was the most popular dish of the night. Everyone devoured and no crumbs were left behind. 1000% recommend!

This arepa took me back to my childhood! Its been a while since ive had and im glad stumbled upon this place on my way home. Generous fillings and the “carne mechada” hit the spot. Passion fruit juice was also very tasty!

The tequeños are perfect!!! I have been living out of Venezuela for 8 years and I finally found a place that actually does tequeños like in Venezuela, con las burbujitas en la masa.

This truck is the closest I've come to eating true, authentic Venezuelan food in years. Everything I've had here is fresh and so flavorful, you can tell the ingredients are of the best quality.
Food aside, the people that work it are welcoming and so sweet! If you're not Venezuelan they take the time to walk you through the menu/give recs, and if you are Venezuelan they are a much needed dose of home. Everything is delicious, but the cachapas and tequeños are unreal.
Could no recommend enough!!!!
Vegetarian options: A lot of dishes are corn based with cheese, most items can be adapted to be vegetarian.

I do not recommend eating the patacon with filling because the refried patacon was very bad, full of saturated fats. It is not as it appears in the images.

The best cachapa I have eaten in years, eating it with a frescolita made me come home through the meal. The location of the food truck is perfect in a very quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn, if you are in NYC be sure to visit the place and support Creole talent.

Best food truck in the area. If you’re bored of tacos and halal it’s worth it to try something new to add to the menu.
We contracted Canaima Food Truck for a private event. Andres, Flavio and Karen came to our rescue after another food truck suddenly bailed on us 2 weeks before. After explaining our situation during the initial conversation Andres said, "Don't worry, you are not going to regret working with us" and it could not have been more true. Communication was excellent, customer service was above and beyond. Not only were they reliable in doing the job, but they were fun and seemed to enjoy it. Even small unexpected problems were solved seamlessly (power outages, extra food beyond our initial order, etc). It was beyond professional, it was personal and in the end we feel like family :)

I ate a cheese cachapa with my sister and it was divine! The Tequeños are also very rich. I will definitely return to try a cheese and chicken cachapa?
