Good food. I had the Ribeye and my lady had the Skirt steak. They were cooked to perfection. Kinda expensive. Had to order my rice and beans separately for about 10 bucks or 12 for a salad, after paying 50+ for a steak. Waited a lil longer than I wanted for drinks but it was new years so I can look past that. There was supposed to live music and dancers as per the promotion but neither of the two before we left. Got there at 9 left at 1130. My lady wanted to dance so it was a lil disappointing. Maybe the music was gonna come later on in the night but still we almost left at midnight and nothing.

I suspect they freeze their meats ahead of time and then reheat The food. Because, the core of meat was cold. Very disappointing and food taste mediocre. This is more of a drink bar.
Good for the ambiance, but service is slow, so don’t come hungry. The quipes were the best part of the meal. The lemonade is overly sweet, and the passion fruit juice too sour. Mofongos are also a bit underwhelming. Overall, Carro Cafe is ideal for its atmosphere, but it could improve on service and food quality to match the setting.
