I walked in here for a quick bite because I was starving and met THE Cas. He was lovely and did not disappoint. The jerk chicken fell off the bone, the rice and peas were cooked to perfection (and with some of that oxtail gravy, ooo girl!) and the plantains were perfectly sweet and soft. He told me not to be a stranger and I don't plan to. If I'm in the area, I'm sure I'll stop by and see him again :)
We got oxtail and jerk chicken to go and ate it while our kids played in the children's museum. Generous portion sizes - enough for 1.5 meals. The oxtail was so tender that if you look at it kind of hard it will fall off the bone. The jerk chicken is well-sauced, not too spicy, pretty sweet. Will definitely eat here again when next in the area.
Owner of the restaurant is a nice guy. We had curry chicken and brown stewed chicken. Overall we would give it a three star. The taste wasn't as seasoned to what we have had in the past from other places but they give you more then enough.
