Abusive management. Our waiter was nearly in tears because the manager is so horrible. Don’t give this place your business. There are far better Mexican spots nearby: Cafe Miguel and De Mole.

Party of 5 stood at entrance for about 5 minutes. Place inside had 4 tables filled. 3 waiters we're running the tables and the owner and a 4th waiter were looking at a computer towards the back. At no time were we ever acknowledged, even when they walked right by us at least 4 times. When one of us walked to the back to ask to be seated, the owner looked up, raised his hand and said, please wait, we'll be right with you. Not even a hello, and felt unfriendly when he spoke. We actually did wait a few more minutes, but then decided to leave. The place inside was half empty. Not sure why we were left unattended for so long without even being acknowledged or greeted. There were so many opportunities to at least greet us. We won't be back.

Walked up no reservations and we were quickly greeted and sat. Our server (maybe he was the owner?) was so attentive and knowledgeable but gave us our space. The margarita pitcher hit the spot and the food, good lord the food. Best Mexican food in New York City, best guacamole of my life.

Used to love this place and have recommended it to friends for their frozen margaritas. I haven't been in a while and was recently greeted extremely rudely by the host (gray bearded guy). We walked right out and will let our friends know this place has severely declined. Will not be back again.

Craving Mexican food, but ended up elsewhere due to a disappointing experience. We waited about 15 minutes outside in the sun for a table in the shade, yet no staff member offered to help. When we were finally seated, the bearded server was completely unhelpful— he refused to clean our table on the go and then told us we’d have to wait in the sun again if we wanted a clean one. Showing his ego? Idk, maybe better sign up for a therapy? TBH pretty disappointed by the attitude, plz work on this.

I was really looking forward to trying this place but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The chicken enchiladas were the most flavorless I’ve ever had which is not exactly what you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. Our waiter took long to take our order and then walked off. Despite plenty of empty tables, we were seated at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation. Nothing says “welcome” like being splashed by shaken cocktails while trying to eat. The drinks themselves? Just as unimpressive. Overall, the atmosphere had potential but it was hard to enjoy with subpar food, slow service, and a drink shaking in my face. Definitely not worth it.
