I love coming to this restaurant as it is always peaceful and I can always ensure i’m going to have a wonderful experience. The service is always quick and I feel the love in every meal I have.
Just a great local joint that slings classic Italian American comfort food. HUGE portions, very reasonable prices.
I know it says pizza place but the Italian food here is great. Had veal parm and it was excellent. Kind of an ‘old school NYC’ Italian and that’s what makes it great.Run by Sal, his wife and daughter. Really, do go!Wish I’d taken a photo of the veal but I was too busy eating it.
A hidden gem in Prospect Heights! Super solid Italian food at very reasonable prices. Especially great spot during Open Streets. Feels like a real neighborhood, family place. Don't miss it!
Absolutely delicious, if you want a classic Italian meal this is where you go
OMG, the worst caprese salad I've ever been served. The tomato wasn't ripe, the arugula was swimming in oil & vinegar. Shame on their kitchen for sending it out to a diner.

Great place to bring your kids! I know the bread is fresh bc we live across the street and I would watch it get delivered in the early morning hours when I was up feeding my baby
Homey, delicious, and well priced for Vanderbilt. It’s not the now typical elevated-way-too-expensive pasta and pizza. It’s just well made authentic Italian. Deserves way more of a crowd than it gets, but I’m grateful I was able to just walk in and eat
One of my favorite meals is a Cataldos Veal Parmigiana hero, house salad, and a cappuccino. Love sitting here for lunch, love ordering delivery for dinner.
Have been a few times- the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly. Very cozy vibe and good for groups too.
You know you’re in an Italian home when you see a large wooden spoon +fork hanging from the wall. An Italian home is exactly what it feels like here with their delicious food and attentive service. I had: the house salad which was perfectly doused with the in house vinaigrette, a margarita pizza which was plenty for me to take home and was even more delicious cold Idk how and let me tell you about this rice pudding; not too sweet a perfectly delicate balance of delectably goodness you’re going to want to order extra to take home.
