I would've given this establishment 0 stars but I added 2 points just for the hookah. We dined here on 2/24. We ordered our meals at 9:05pm. We ordered wings, two drinks, a salad, chicken kebab, beef kebab and two side orders of rice along with a Hookah. The food arrived at 9:30 along with the hookah. We were still waiting on my husbands beef kebabs. 10 minutes passes by and we're wondering where the beef kebabs were but we couldn't flag someone down to follow up about it. At 9:56, we asked someone who then called the waitress. The waitress came by and said she'll check with the kitchen. She came back and said they apparently lost the ticket and asked what it was we wanted so she could place the order now. It was already an hour since we placed the order and had lost our appetite at this point. When we asked for a manager, we were told there wasn't one available that day. We are very disappointed at the service as we were the ONLY customers at such a big place.
It's a neighborhood spot and honestly we don't usually go here anymore but stopped by Rocca Cafe and the food, prices and service were beyond bad.... on the way back we stopped at cats and the waitress and hostess were superrr great. Thanksss!
Sat on the bar on a Wednesday night and enjoyed some of their European classic dishes. 2 stars off because of the loud karaoke that interferes with the dining experience dramatically.
Good place and handsome menu with friendly attitude people!I can recommend for brunch hangouts
Really cool place. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Came here to part with friends and we all found it super cool
Would give more than 5 stars if I could. The food is high quality, fresh and delicious.
Good place . Delicious Azerbaijani food . But service need approves . Server didn’t paid attention to us
Amazing food, excellent service 200% need to see and be there
Nice hookah, little overpriced but very good service
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place doesn’t provide good service or good food. Neither of these!!! Beside that, they breaking the NY low allowing people to smoke inside of the packed basement. It’s frustrating, waisted time and money!
Restaurantji Recommends
Food was ok, their main course way too pricey and small no side including, for side you have to pay extra.
Absolutely horrible breakfast experience and a ruined morning. A waiter didn’t understand our order, after waiting for 50 mins and speaking to the waiter and supervisor several times our order started arriving piecemeal. Some dishes arrived cold and not what we ordered. One of the people in our party ended up leaving without breakfast because by that time we have been waiting for an hour and a half only to get the wrong dish. We were given a small discount for our troubles. Won’t visit Cats again.
I'm really upset seeing how my old-time go-to place changing.Today we stopped by for a small bite and drinks but a waiter told us that the restrarount lost it alcohol license. Ok, not a big deal.Shrimp cocktail(one of the greatest on Emmons) wasn't available because the restaurant was running out of shrimps. But they did not forget to include it into the final check. The waiter brought glasses but did not bring water. No bread was served(who was in the old Cats before might remember this amazing basket).Cheery on top - credit card surcharges. Go cheap!States that prohibit credit card surcharges and convenience feesTen states prohibit credit card surcharges and convenience fees: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma and Texas. It is illegal for merchants to add any surcharges to credit card transactions or charge convenience fees to nontraditional payment methods in these states.I'm not a restaurant expert or critique but changing the kitchen to mimic Masal, Opera, Rocca, and Baku wasn't a great idea. You can't compete with them, and being yet another Masal clone is not great after all.
We have been here many times, it was always delicious, the service was great, but today the food was just awful, Maybe the chef has changed or something else, we will never come here again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
First time Came with family in the morning for celebration ! Well priced food. I also loved the decoration inside out. Great service. The restaurant also accommodated us. I liked the food so much so the next day evening I returned with my friends. We ordered food and Hookah. 1) there is No hookah Menu or price listed anywhere. The hookah guy said they have 2 kind of hookah 1 for $40, the second for $60. The hookah guy recommended us a flovore for the $40 type. The second we received the hookah all 5 of us felt the hookah too harsh!. I didn't stop coughing for few minutes. We immediately called the hookah guy, He said "this flavor originally harsh" he can't fix it !. The only way to fix it is to change the flavor to watermelon ?! He said he will gladly change it to watermelon! for Hookah guy it is your duty to inform the customer what is good and what is bad in the first place ! Long story Longer he Exchanged the hookah too the watermelon which was amazing! In the end of the night we got the bill. Little you know they changed us $60 for hookah that cost $40. they refuse to refund us the difference We explain to 3 different people every one was very manner to understand the issue But no-one refund us the difference. That was the most expensive hookah I ever smoked After the Tax and the extra fee they charge this Hookah cost us $78.6 They are charging 4% for credit card use.
