CAVA feels very similar to Just Salad — a fast-casual, build-your-own healthy bowl concept.
I ordered the Spicy Lamb bowl. It came with about four small lamb meatballs. The texture was more like ground meat (similar to a burger patty) rather than a traditional firm meatball. The lamb flavor wasn’t very strong, and despite the name “Spicy,” the seasoning was pretty mild — just a light touch of spice, nothing bold.
The toppings were fresh and colorful: black lentils, super greens, red pepper hummus, feta, pickled onions, tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado. The pickled onions added a nice tang, and the red pepper hummus had a subtle sweetness that helped balance the bowl.
Overall, it’s clean, healthy, and filling — but not especially memorable.

Melissa was absolutely wonderful... She keeps the line moving efficiently while remaining professional and pleasant. All the staff at this location work really hard and the food is amazing. What really made the visit exceptional was Kim. You can tell immediately when someone genuinely cares about the guest experience, and Kim is one of those rare employees who elevates the entire place. Friendly, patient, and incredibly attentive, Kim helped guide my order with great suggestions and made sure everything came out just right. It’s the kind of service that sticks with you and makes you want to come back.
CAVA is always good, but with team members like Kim, it becomes a standout spot. Highly recommend stopping in — and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Kim, you’re in for an even better meal.
