Wow. Everything was delicious. The meatball app was delicious. The Gnocchi Vodka Bianca was probably the best pasta dish I have ever had. The risotto with shrimp and calamari was also very good

The food was beyond delicious. I had the Gnocchi Bianca and it was very creamy and filling. The wait staff were very kind and I would 100% come back if I were in NY again.

We’ve made a tradition out of coming here while out in Dyker Heights for the Christmas lights! Be sure to get a reservation in advance that time of year, as it gets quite busy on weekends.

Had an awesome family dinner at Cavatappi in Brooklyn tonight with my wife and our boys, 10 and 12. Kicked off with crispy calamari and those killer meatballs in the best sauce ever—kids loved em.

Pork chop was huge and juicy, seared perfect, but the seafood pasta? Packed with shrimp, clams, mussels, total winner. Family run, and the staff was so friendly, chatting up the kids like old pals.

Wrapped up with a drive through Dyker Heights Christmas lights—those houses are nuts this year! Boys were hyped the whole way home. Real Italian in Brooklyn? This is it. We’ll be back.

I rarely write reviews but could not let this dining experience go without giving this place 5 stars. Not only is the atmosphere homey and comfortable and the service excellent, the food is unbelievable. Everything was fresh, creative and bursting with flavor. I an say with certainty that this is some of the best food in Brooklyn much less the neighborhood.

First time coming to Brooklyn and wanted to eat at a small Italian Restaurant. This place did not disappoint at all. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly, including the owner. I wish I lived closer because I would always come here. I will absolutely come back if I'm ever in Brooklyn again.

The catavappi green pasta isn't recommended but I am not Italian so yeah everything else is good. Lunch menu is underrated, I don't want to buy the lunch because a bee was chasing me
