CC'S Jamaican Restaurant

Customer service is so so so poor, the guy and the girl sharing the food tonight had 0 customer service skills. Ever since I moved to NY I’ve love this restaurant and always was treated nice but they both seem so annoyed except for the young guy at the register and the chef who came around to put the food down. Will not be back.

Today my wife came to the establishment and we was disappointed with the food. The quality we use to get wasnt the same. The rice and pea was over cook, OX tail was fatty and didn't taste like the original. So fix that because that is failure 😕

This is ridiculous again one piece of chicken food in a large soup with two dumpling some carrots and a lot of water. Just a lot of waters. That’s crazy. $10.00

There have been multiple occasions when I ordered online, and they ran out of an item without refunding me. They simply didn't include it in the bag. Only if I call and confront them about it do they issue the refund. It feels like a scam.

I went to the restaurant and ordered a medium curry goat. To my surprise when I got home and opened the aluminum foil container plate it was filled with mostly bones. I know goat meat have bones, but how could you charge someone $15 for bones and rice. Does your concence bother you when you do something like that. People work hard for their money and they wanted their monies worth. Business will not prosper when you do things like that.

Went in for a quick take out snack. Got the Mac n cheese and I loved it. The more flavorful Mac I've had in a long time. I left not one drop in the container 😁. I'm batting a thousand lately.

I came to CC’s earlier today really looking forward to getting some stew peas. I traveled all the way from Queens and arrived around 11:30 a.m. When I got there, I greeted the cashier and asked if the stew peas were ready. She didn’t look up or acknowledge me, and when I asked if she knew about what time it would be ready , whether in an hour or two , she just shook her head without saying a word.

What stood out to me was that shortly after, a Jamaican gentleman came in and asked her when the jerk chicken would be ready, and she immediately gave him an answer. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I don’t have an accent, which made me feel a bit dismissed and unwelcome.

I ended up waiting in my car for about 20 minutes, planning to stay an hour if needed, until I realized I could just order on DoorDash. As soon as I placed the order, the food was ready within 5 minutes — which was confusing since I had been told (or rather, not told) that it wasn’t ready.

Her attitude was honestly disappointing and could turn customers away. If I hadn’t thought to check DoorDash, I probably would’ve left without getting any food. I really enjoy your food, but I hope the staff can be more attentive and polite to everyone who walks in. Her name is CHANEL ! Or Chantel either or !

I used to like CC’s bc of its pricing and decent portions but after today, I won’t be visiting again! Not only did they forget my plantain that I paid for, there was hair in my food.. not one, not two, but three pieces of hair!! This is unsanitary and disappointing to say the least.
