Had a lovely experience for our 25th wedding anniversary. Food was wonderful, service was great, ambience was relaxing. Disappointed no recognition for anniversary dispute seeing people with birthday life cream. Not that it spoilt our night but had something everywhere else we've been even though this was our main meal event.

Was super special to be out on the patio celebrating our anniversary. I did wish that we were able to reserve the patio for our reservation. Especially since I booked out a couple weeks back and when we get there they didn't have the table ready. Not too long of a wait but still details matter especially at a high end place like this

I had booked in advance and requested for a table outside for my birthday dinner. There was a 20 minute line outside and then when we got to our table it was tucked inside the furniture store next to the dish stand. I asked for the same table but one over, and the hostess was completely unhelpful and rude. Do not go for any special occasion unless you enjoy mediocre service.

Outside is very noisy due to the subway passing onto the brooklyn bridge. Management is very bad - 5 tables empty outside and people waiting to sit at the entrance for almost 30 min. Nonsense. Bunch of young and inexperienced girls unable to handle the amount of people waiting - not to mention same line to check in for pp with reservations and for those without. Crazy!! Never again

The food is always great!! The issue was the service. Also the AC unit was dripping on all of our party the whole dinner. When we mentioned it to the server, we got zero response. The server also didn't seem confident on the menu (I had a simple question about the pizza and he really had no idea), forgot our apps (which after asking, showed up after our entrees). Just seemed like he didn't want to be there.

They put us at a table very far from the restroom and I was with my mom that is 84 years old. It was a long walk to the restroom. It started raining and they moved us to a table inside, and the table was even worse. The air conditioning was very cold and there was nobody on that salon. There were other tables available in the main room, and we had a reservation. The service was not good, and I do not recommend this restaurant. Overpriced and too touristic. It is a trap for tourists.

We went to celebrate Fathers Day and it was the perfect place to be.Amazing food and amazing cocktails. Their wood fired pizza are too good

Our table wasn't ready until 20 mins after our reservation time. We were served our side pastas with our salads as appetizers. There were multiple spiders on our table. Our main courses took over an hour after the appetizers. The staff did nothing to make up for our experience.

Fantastic views of the city and Brooklyn bridge if you sit outside. Inside is super nice too and upscale. Great for a nice date.

Truly underwhelming/poor food soured us on this place. I had been looking forward to finally dining outdoors, but the food, specifically the salad and zucchini friti, were not good.

I went to Cecconi's yesterday. Everything was great the food was delicious and the staff were all very attentive. Except for the person who served us. I understand that everyone can have personal problems or be in a bad mood, and I respect that. But this person was so visibly unhappy that it felt personal to us. Especially considering it was my wife's birthday and my mother was with us. I couldn't go without mentioning this. Thank you.

First and foremost, I'd like to disclose that my girlfriend and I really enjoyed everything overall minus a few details that may not be so important, but might be a good reference for someone. We originally were seated outside as requested however I didn't realize the choice of chairs were actually very low and felt quite awkward and even slightly uncomfortable — I'm about 6'1”. In addition it was a lot more noisier outside than expected but to no fault of the restaurant. Just natural NYC noise. The views were absolutely amazing and we were lucky with the weather! We noticed a table for 4 with standard chairs instead of the lounging ones and asked if possible to switch tables. Ultimately they politely asked us if we would be okay moving inside as they were going to sit a group of either 3/4 there. We were slightly disappointed but understood as we both work in the restaurant industry as well. Moving inside we were actually happy with the noise reduction and were a lot more comfortable now that I was out of that lounge chair. From then on, the service and food took over. We shared the calamari to start, which had a nice little kick. For the main course we shared the Porterhouse which included a side, we chose mashed potatoes. Both really good, tasted perfect with a little pepper added! In addition we also shared the Spaghetti with Maine Lobster. This was honestly a little underwhelming. The pasta tasted as if it was homemade which was wonderful, and lobster was cooked very well! However, the sauce was a lot sweeter than anticipated as I could have sworn the menu said it had some chile. We ended the night with the flourless chocolate cake which was accompanied with a stracciatella gelato. This desert was absolutely amazing and almost left me wanting more, which I don't know how with all the food we ate! Overall as I said we enjoyed everything!! Definitely a great spot!

On Friday, 5/23/25, I celebrated my son’s college graduation with dinner inviting family and friends. I have been communicating with Jillian, Cecconi’s private events assistant manager, since March to set up this dinner. I am extremely pleased and happy that I chose Cecconi’s for this moment. Last night was absolutely wonderful!! ☺️ I didn’t drink as much as I’d have liked because I was too busy interacting with my family and friends. I loved that everyone was enjoying themselves. It was cool seeing my son’s and his friends having a good time. Am I biased because of the moment I was celebrating? Maybe….. but the food was delicious and the service was great. Jose and the other gentleman whose name I can’t remember were wonderful. Both of them were pleasant and gracious.

Entrees were eggplant parmigiana, chicken paillard, and salmon broccolini with sides, of course.
Dessert was tiramisu and lemon sorbet.
These dishes are from the private events menu selection. Nevertheless, all were delicious. You can view the regular menu to Cecconi’s Dumbo on their website or Google.

This review is based on the private events space so the price per person is $100+ because of that. However, if you walk in or reserve a table the cost per person could definitely be less depending upon your meal and drink. That review is the next paragraph.

I first came to Cecconi’s the second week of May 2025 to check out the restaurant and the space I had a contract for. After meeting with Jillian, 2 of my friends and I had a meal. The service that day was very good. No complaints at all. I had a reservation for 3 and we chose to sit on the outside part of restaurant. It was a delicious meal, delicious drinks and a beautiful view.

*The pic of the rigatoni bolognese was when I had a late lunch with my 2 friends.*

We came in to sit at a table but anrrived early for the reservation. Stopped by the bar for a cocktail .Our bartender Mufas was amazing! Incredible service and drinks were on point. He completely elevated our visit tenfold . We wound up dining at the bar with him. Thank you for a fantastic lunch Mufas!

Terrible service. We made a reservation for 13, but 15 people joined. For what the manager said, they wouldn’t be able to service 15, just 13. Maybe they couldn’t add more pasta to the boiling water. Go figure… anyhow, we went to Millie’s, the restaurant literally across the hall in the Ned and the food and service were AMAZING! So, don’t lose your time at Cecconis, go directly to Millie’s. Your welcome!
