Arrived at 8pm, the waiter took our order at 830pm, we received food at 915pm on a lazy Wednesday evening with 4-5 couples seated in the restaurant. Wait staff was completely negligent. Couldn’t be bothered to do much. Food was bland, under seasoned and far from the quintessential flavors you come to expect from a Mexican restaurant, even if they’re going for a more modern take the flavors are just non existent. Add to this No salsa, no hot sauce, nothing of that nature to be found at a Mexican restaurant, just not good IMHO.
And I hate giving less than 5 star reviews, but you add the bad service on top of that and you just have a disappointing night out.

This was our second time trying to visit. The first time we came all the way just to be turned away because of a private event. A little annoying but I guess there’s no way to show that on google. We came back the other day. Drinks were good! Food was very average/ underseasoned and wait staff seemed like they did not want to be there. also HEADS UP- they refuse to honor Groupons that are well before expiration date. Overall 6/10

Great place to take the whole family for a little celebration! They were especially great with the kids, treating them like valued guests. The food was excellent—especially the guacamole! Fun, festive music and friendly service.

The Chile Relleno (stuffed pepper) is sooooo good! Super authentic food and welcoming vibes. The F/G train is right outside the door too.

Tucked into a quiet little neighborhood in Brooklyn there are seating both inside and out. Our server was prompt and friendly and happy to talk up the restaurant.
I take off points for the food as we prefer vegetable options and there are some on the menu. Unfortunately there aren't any in the kitchen to be served. We were told that they vegetables dishes don't sell well so they don't actually carry vegetables. My wife had a burrito bowl and I had a burrito which basically meant we're both having rice and beans for dinner. We did try the esquites which was very tasty and we would have that again. Basically if we come back to this place it will be for appetizers and not main courses.

It is such a cute spot. Food and service was amazing. Drinks are great and the meal size are big. Definitely worth the money. I would recommend.

The people who work here are very sweet, and the atmosphere is cozy, but there's something missing from the food. I have a feeling it's because they are trying to make their plates "healthy."

I keep hoping this place has improved their food but it continues to disappoint. The queso fundido was a congealed blob with no flavor and the tortillas were stale. The tacos were okay, but for $6 (plus $2.50 for a tablespoon of guac!) I expect a more flavor and freshness.

The food was shockingly bad. Went back once because I’m on the block and wanted it to be a fluke. Hard pass
