The food was okay. As someone who for years lived in proximity to many Italian restaurants, however, I have high expectations. We sat outside, which would have been lovely except when the other group left, the dining room assistant decided to watch YouTube videos at a loud enough volume that we could hear it, and he seemed surprised when we asked him to turn it down. I doubt I'll return.

I had a wonderful dinner at Cent'Anni. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you're in the neighborhood. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly. The food was delicious and well prepared.

Had brunch today here for the first time and must admit the service was pretty pathetic. We ordered the bottomless brunch which was barely bottomless because the server was nowhere to be found when we needed to order more drinks. I work in hospitality myself and Ive worked many brunch shifts and I know a busy shift when I see one and it was NOT busy. There was a server a bartender and runner on the floor but the server just took our order and barely checked in on us. She then promptly decided to give us the check without asking if we needed anything else and said we couldn’t get more drinks cause our time was up. She didn’t ask if we wanted dessert tea coffee NOTHING. Just dropped the check and walked away very nonchalantly. Keep in mind it took us 10 minutes to get our first drink which was a mimosa which takes less than a minute to make. Also since the server was nowhere around we couldn’t order as many drinks as we wanted because we had to wait to get some service. I don’t know where they hired this server but she was not efficient and not hospitable at all. I would totally understand the wait if it were packed but it wasn’t. I’ve had dinner here several times and the service was always great so this was really disappointing.

As someone who frequently enjoys solo dining and reading on Fridays, I decided to switch things up and try Cent'Anni instead of my usual spot on Franklin Avenue. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. The service at the bar seemed off; the bartender appeared noticeably annoyed, especially when I requested water without ice and a smaller straw. While I understand the environmental concerns regarding plastic, it seemed inconsistent as they provided large straws (and usually bartender hust cut the staw to make it fit smaller glass). Additionally, small details of professional etiquette were lacking, such as my check and card not being properly presented on a check board like other patrons st the bar. When ordering my cocktail and pasta, I had to remind the bartender for a fork, which was a minor inconvenience as I was engrossed in my reading. The Tagliatelle Ragu Lamb was disappointing and underwhelming: the portion was excessive, possibly compensating for the lack of quality ingredients, the pasta was overcooked, the sauce lacked flavor, and the lamb in the "Ragu lamb" was difficult to detect.Overall, I'll be sticking to my usual spot for solo dining at the bar on Franklin av: Arden, where the bartender excels in professionalism and creating a welcoming atmosphere (and the food is excellent). When it comes to Italian food, Aita Trattoria offers better quality, although I must acknowledge that the seated service at Cent'Anni was commendable the last time i came (and this time host and the person bringing plate were really nice). For cocktails in a restaurant setting, both Arden and Barboncino surpass Cent'Anni in crafted/signature cocktails.

Came here last night for an early Valentine's date. The place is super cute and there's definitely an air of romance with the dim lighting and candles on each table. We sat in a booth in the back and it was pretty roomy and felt private, but there was a small two person table set up right next to us. No one was sitting there but if there was, i can see how it definitely would not feel as private/quiet since it's very close to the booth. My partner and i got three pastas, she got the tagliatelle funghi and i got the pappardalle lamb ragu, and then we shared the penne alla vodka (because why not!). All of the pastas were solid flavor wise, plus they were a pretty big portion of each.

Great and authentic tasting Italian food! They gave complimentary olive oil and sourdough for the table- the oil very fragrant and fruity. My partner and I both got homemade pastas and I can say that they both tasted amazing! Fragrant flavors and perfectly cooked pasta. The white bean crostini was also a great appetizer and very sizable. The ambiance is dark, candlelit- great for a date or otherwise cozy vibes. I would recommend this place. Franklin ave restaurants continue to impress.

I had the best experience here while celebrating my mom's birthday. They were so attentive, and the service was top-notch. Their menu was solid - it was complex to choose what to have! But everything everyone ordered was delectable. My favorite was the gnocchi and salmon dishes. You can tell the difference between handmade pasta and store-bought pasta. They had a seafood special that my mom raved about. The drinks were perfect, and the ambiance was SO cozy. I can't wait to return for a date night in one of the booths. All in all, it was a charming experience.

Gorgeous high tops, attentive and kind service, and delicious food. The ravioli with vodka was fabulous, the tiramisu was a perfect finish. They also have great espresso! Can’t wait to come back - everything was divine. Romantic, decadent, and lovely.
