This is easily one of the best dining experiences that I've had in NYC since I moved here eight years ago. Before coming in, I had never had Georgian food before and didn't know what to expect. Every single item was absolutely delicious and the service was even better. I was curious about the amber wine and the server was nice enough to give me a taste before pouring a full glass. Even the Georgian sparkling water was tasty. Not to mention, the actual decor and energy of the restaurant was so great. Everybody in there seemed happy and it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night but still intimate. Before we left, our food was boxed up and we got a handwritten note with our receipt. I'll definitely be back sooner than later!

I recently visited Chama Mama again and, honestly, it's like they never miss a beat. The ambiance, as always, was on point - they've really nailed the vibe with their modern yet cozy decor. I decided to branch out this time and tried the Megruli Kharcho - Chicken, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It's like there's a little bit of magic in that sauce, a real taste sensation. I keep coming back, and each visit confirms why; it's the consistency in the quality of food and service that does it for me.

One of our favorite restaurants in the city! We had visited the one in Chelsea, and heard that they were opening in Brooklyn Heights. The atmosphere is so quaint and lovely. The food is phenomenal. We always go with the cheese bread and Taste of Georgia, and both never disappoint. This time we went with a chicken dish for our entree, and really enjoyed it.

LOTS OF VEGAN OPTIONS. The service was great and the food was amazing . Such a great brunch spot excited to come back in the spring . This restaurant is in a great neighborhood with lots of shops so there are things to do after brunch.

Good food BUT....Walked into a mostly empty restaurant before the dinner rush. We get a table right next to a couple with a screaming toddler who is kicking and screaming, while there are plenty of empty seats! We did have a reservation and when we were leaving, more then half of the restaurant was still empty. Staff clearly saw we did not enjoy the show next to us, but did nothing. Was very excited about Georgian place opening in the neighborhood, but the service has to be on the same level as the Chelsea location.

upsetting experience. i had a birthday dinner with 6 friends, we were seated at a communal table right by the entrance, which i absolutely hated. there was no warning from the resy app or restaurant that they have such tables and that my party will be seated there when i made the booking. when i said i didn’t like the table host had absolutely no care in the world to help to offer any other options and kept saying it was my fault that i didn’t spesify what table i wanted upfront. the food is mediocre and portions are ridiculously small. as a georgian person who loves georgian food, this was beyond dissapointing. the service was terrible, i had to chase our waitress around to make sure all my friends have food and drinks. no one ever checked or asked how we are doing and if we need anything. i will never come back to this place or any other chama mama locations in the city.

I think this is my first all-5-⭐ rating! Delicious food, pleasant service, and a lovely atmosphere! Such a fantastic lunch time experience during a gloomy rainy Saturday.A former coworker and I shared the beef kharcho soup, the Georgian salad, and the imeruli khachapuri cheese bread. All of these were really just delicious, but especially, especially the imeruli khachapuri!! This was my first time having Georgian food and this bread, but I think it was kind of like quesadilla but like 10 times better!I won't even bother going into describing the main dish because the stuff above is really already quite memorable. Both of us also tried the amber wine flight. I'm not much of a wine person, so I couldn't tell how good it was. I tried it because I was really just curious what amber wine was like. Overall it wasn't bad, and that was all I could tell about it ?The restaurant was also delightfully designed and decorated!Overall this was totally worth a 35-40 minute trip from midtown Manhattan during a rainy day ?

Really enjoyed visiting this new restaurant on a Saturday evening at the bar area. Checked this spot out an hour prior to seeing the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra perform just around the block, in the Brooklyn Heights area. Enjoyed learning about and tasting some Georgian Corn-Bread and Khinkali Lamb with a 2020 Georgian red wine. The staff was super kind and efficient. The music and aesthetics at the restaurant was very pleasing. (I look forward to returning to try their signature Adjaruli Khachapuri)
