They good but they always lazy to do Ice cream or cheesecake sundays. 6/11/25 It’s 50/50 chance. If you come in the daytime the ice cream machine is down but if you come night time or late night it is working. 🤷🏻

My food was amazing. I ordered buffalo hot wings with fries and a dr pepper. I asked for my wings to be double cooked, and they listened. My food came out hot fresh and ready to eat. This is my go to spot. Also it wasn't crowded and the cashier was nice

I recently ordered two sandwiches from this place a big Buford and a fish sandwich. Both of them arrive to be cold, even though I live less than a mile away from the location on top of that even with heating them up, it was still not appetizing. I’m not use to this with checkers as I used to go to one near my job in Bushwick and their food was pretty good. I think it’s this location a year ago I was stricken with a stroke and I’m now in a nursing home not far from the ER which is in the hood east New York. I have had zero luck with fast food in this area from Chinese. Write down to commercial chains like this one. I’ve pretty much given up on trying to have a good burger in the area and I thought checkers would be it. I guess I was wrong. I'm done.....

This location is big for no reason. This location needs a better active staff who actually wants to work. There’s no reason to have people waiting almost 20-25 mins for food. Only for the burgers to taste like the box & freezer it sat in at the same time along with soggy fries. Then when you ask for dipping sauce you get undertone attitude as if your not supposed to ask for anything else once they hand you you’re bag of food. It was my first and LAST time ever going to this location.

I’m absolutely done with Checkers after this experience.
I recently ordered the Pick Two Mix and Match meal for delivery, and I was extremely careful when customizing my two double cheeseburgers. I explicitly unchecked the ingredients I didn’t want: pickles, tomatoes, onions, and mustard. I did this because I have serious food allergies to raw onions and mustard, something I would have made clear in the order had that been an option. However, Checkers did not allow any notes regarding allergies on the app.
So imagine my shock and frustration when I opened the bag and saw that BOTH burgers were loaded with everything I asked to be removed. Not one or two ingredients, all of them were on there, as if no one even glanced at the order details. I tried to remove them, but the damage was already done. Just tasting it caused an immediate allergic reaction. My stomach hurt, my throat felt like it was closing up, and I had to take two allergy medications AND my EpiPen just to get it under control.
This wasn’t just disappointing. This was negligent and dangerous. If I hadn’t caught the reaction in time, this could have ended in an ER visit, or worse.
It’s clear that whoever prepared my food didn’t read the order or didn’t care, and either way, that’s completely unacceptable. Food allergies are not a joke. When a customer makes specific requests for medical reasons, you have a responsibility to get it right.
Checkers has completely lost my trust. I won’t be ordering again, and I hope others with allergies think twice before doing so. This kind of careless disregard for a customer's health is inexcusable. So much for dinner... 😔

The food was good the apple pie taste like cinnamon the little bites taste like coffee. The fries taste good the spicy chicken sandwich taste a little dry but it’s fine because I didn’t have that much lettuce I mean mayonnaise and it taste delicious I give this a good four even though checkers is my favorite place
