The name says it all: cheese boat! We ordered the OG Cheeseboat and it's truly cheesy and delicious. Despite the size, the cheeseboat was enough to make 3 adults feel full. It's VERY filling. The service was very friendly. The tables and chairs are all quite close together (frequent bumping into the chair behind you) which didn't bother me, but if you're looking for a place with a bit more personal space take this as an FYI. The bar area was beautiful, with a neon sign.

There was only one chef working the night we went, and the food all appears to be made to order, which I appreciate. But the service was extremely slow, so probably don't come here if you are in a rush. I'm deducting one star because of the service. We tried the Kartvelian Salad, Imeruli Cheesebread, Leek It! Cheeseboat, and Bubba Cheeseboat. Everything was delicious. The salad was perfectly spiced and refreshing. There was a lot of cheese overall, but it didn't feel greasy. The ambiance is hard to describe. It's on the more eclectic and casual end. I think this place has potential but could be executed better. Overall it's a fun place to check out if you are curious.

This place has potential - they need to market themselves a bit better, and they also need to not have someone walking around taking photos & pressuring you to buy them. The food was delicious (tough to mess up a bread boat of steak & cheese) but the atmosphere could be improved upon.

You gotta get the cheeseboat! It lives up to how good it looks in pictures and videos and there are so many different types to order, make sure you get at least one when you visit. So yummy! I liked this restaurant a lot because I felt like I was in a bar in Europe. It's cozy and there's plenty of seating, even if you have a group of 6-8 people. I didn't try any drinks when I went but next time I think I would try a cocktail or one of their lemonades.

Sat outside on the sidewalk on a beautiful, sunny day and had a great meal - cheese, bread, cocktails - what’s better?

I loved this place so much! They did a great job of recreating the original cheese boat dish but spiced it up by adding meat to it which made it the best I have ever tasted, I love the music the place played and I loved the environment! Honestly the best spot I could find in NY. The service was also really good I got greater and got set almost instantly and it only took 10 minutes for the food to get here 10/10 of the charts!

Ordered takeout from this place, and I had ordered this way in advanced on DoorDash. Arrived right on time to when this order said it was ready, but upon asking about my order, the host seemed a bit confused. Had to wait an extra 25 mins over, and they did not provide any utensils or napkins... Ambiance looks cute. Nothing that special, but has outdoor seating as well. Food: 3/5 I would say for the price point, you'd expect this food to taste better, since a Georgian soup dumpling is pricier than Asian soup dumplings. Initial bite is good, but as you continue chewing, the skin was tough, and the flavor was lacking. Tried the Georgian veggie ball appetizer and did not really like it. Just tasted like compiled balls of veggies with minimal seasoning. The cheeseboard themselves we tried the original and the spinach. The cheeseboat is definitely overhyped, overpriced, glorified cheese bread with no marinara sauce. Tasted just overly heavy bread with no seasoning. I'm glad I tried something new, but I don't think Georgian food is my cup of tea

Unique restaurant with delicious food, friendly service and dog friendly. We were there in NYC for a Broadway show, and ate here for lunch beforehand after running into a long line at the place we intended to go. Never been so grateful to change plans. We cannot wait to go back. What a treasure!

A place with good atmosphere, nice interior, fast service and tasty authentic food and cocktails. Now I plan visiting their other location in Hell's Kitchen as well.

I am well acquainted with Georgian cuisine, and I can say: the cook in this restaurant needs to go to Georgia for training... especially to Batumi. Because the taste of the dishes does not match the original. We waited over 20 minutes for food. We ordered borscht and khachapuri with pieces of steak, +1 bottle of beer. It cost 60 dollars. The borscht is not tasty - there is not enough salt and sourness, for some reason the borscht was made spicy, the meat in the borscht was obviously fried separately, it is dry and smelly... you will have to pay an extra $6 for meat in the soup. Unfortunately, no amount of sour cream could save him, the soup was tasteless :(Khachapuri is smaller in size than in Georgia, there is not enough dough, but the cheese is quite tasty. But for $28??? This is an inadequate price for such a simple dish. The place is very dark, the music is ridiculously loud, there is some kind of light music there for some reason, it was uncomfortable to eat in complete darkness and noise. There is no authenticity in the establishment - neither in the food nor in the interior.Vegetarian options: You can order borscht without meat; there are also salads.

It was raining, and the restaurant wasn't open for another 15 minutes, but the host was kind enough to still seat us for our later reservation. There was three of us. We ordered one borscht which easily served the 3 of us, khinkali (6 in an order), steak and mushroom cheeseboat and honeycomb brie cheeseboat. We thought the borscht was outstanding. Loved the flavor of the soup dumplings; there's a poster showing you how to eat them. The steak cheeseboat did not skimp on the steak or mushrooms. The brie cheeseboat was sweet, heavy and rich but equally delicious. We took over half of it home. Overall, a very rich comforting eastern european meal. Come hungry.
