The steak torta was DELICIOUS! Mango agua fresca tasted like I was eating a mango without wasting time with bothersome chewing. Frozen coconut margarita (sugared rim) was also a hit. The diaper changing table was out of service--which was a bummer, so we made quick use of the seating near the restroom. Luckily the restaurant wasn't crowded yet. We attended for the pre-fixe Easter Brunch & had a great time taking pictures with the easter bunny.

The food tasted good and everyone was nice. The "Easter Bunny Brunch" was not worth the upcharge, though, and I wouldn't do it again. My kids enjoyed seeing the bunny walking around, and I got a cute picture, but with the prepaid tickets, I paid $21 above the cost of the food and drink. People who had just stopped in for brunch also saw the bunny, without the charge.

The food was well seasoned and delicious. We were seated quickly and attended to promptly. As the night wore on, our waiter was less and less attentive. Overall, it was a good experience. I would go back again.
I went with a group of 9. There is a 20% gratuity applied to tables of 6 or more. It seemed to all of us who went, that we received less than appropriate attention probably because the gratuity was already included. Also, the ambience was obnoxious. The food was good, but not worth going to the restaurant. I would probably order for take out, but I don't think I would go back or recommend going to anyone.

Chela is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. I had the torta milanesa and their famous michelada that made my afternoon. My fiancée had the elote for an appetizer and it was excellent as well the El y Ella drink that she enjoyed very much. Visit when you’re down and not for a great pick me up if you like god food and great drinks.

Food and service was amazing. Server was so nice and attentive. Gluten free options were plentiful. It was my daughter's birthday and they gave her a free drink which was so nice. Definitely recommend.
I NEVER write reviews but I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I was really excited to try this place because I've been trying to find a good Mexican spot. Hostess greeted me and sat me at the bar. I was pretty much ignored by all of the waiters. I watched a waiter take the order of women sitting next to me at the bar and didn't even acknowledge my existence.
I waited and waited watching other people get served. It was so bad that the hostess actually walked up to me and took my drink order and then later when no one asked for my dinner order she came and took my order. Then another group of women sat next to me and the waiter walked up and spoke to them.
Waited for my check but didn't get it so I asked the hostess if I could pay with her. She covered my margarita and apologized for the wait staff but it was truly an awful experience that ruined a memorable day for me. I will NEVER come back.

Brisket tacos were not made from brisket, and whatever cut of meat they used was not seasoned much at all. Chicken and fish tacos were average. Not terrible. Not great.

Place is Really Nice. Very Good Service. Salad with Grilled Shrimps😋yumm😋 but there shrimp and fish tacos had alot of breading. Not my top picks for those tacos but I'll Def go back to try other things.
