Such amazing food!! Service was incredible, and every item we ordered arrived hot and delicious! Everything on the menu is labeled whether it’s gluten free, or if substitutions can be made to make it GF. Sooooo good! Very glad we tried it, planning on coming back soon!

Long time Brooklynite - went to Chela this weekend with my mom, aunt, husband and young daughter (2.5) for lunch - the food was delicious, the staff were so kind to us - its a clearly a family friendly place, and the food came out hot and fast. Its not often anymore that we find a place like this - many places in NYC lately are uptight/expensive/small portions/not good for kids/not authentic. We will be back!!

Our meal was just so-so and the drinks weren’t very good — we couldn’t finish the second one. I feel bad giving it three stars, and maybe we just came on an off evening, but that’s how it stacked up with the other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the area, some of which are significantly less expensive.

Hidden gem of Park Slope for authentic Mexican cuisine, not to mention the best margaritas in the neighborhood. Carlos / Esteban are awesome bartenders. Love the open kitchen; these chefs know what they are doing. The vibe is great whether you are with a group for dinner, or at the bar for happy hour. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t been!
